is it just me or does anyone think the prizes for the low level scratchcards (race to riches and terror trove) are a little unbalanced.  You can win 2500, 5000, or even 10000 np if you get three of a kind of THOSE, where on the other hand, it is equally as hard to get three of a kind of the snowballs or plushies, but if you do, you get cheap, measly prizes not worth the cost of the card!

I know, I personally think the scratchcards can be very profitable, as you usually win more money total than you send, but I always thought that if you WIN the scratchcard, you shouldnt get some cheap quiggle plushie worth 10 np.  well, anyways, not like I'm so mad that I'm going to email neopets complaining

ONe thing that I truly hate are blanks. I got 5 of those in a card once!

lol in my opinion the only use of buying scratchcards is to sell them. they give u steady profit. even with the race to riches scratchcard, its worth about 750 np. thats 150 np more. lol. seems little doesnt it.

the temp of getting 10,000 np (ove a measley 150) is too great....must...not...scratch...aaaaaaah!  I cant help but scratch the race to riches.  Anything else I sell or put in SDB

well, 13(600 np)= 7800 np.
10000-7800=2200
2200/600= about 3 (scratchcards)

You have 3 more tries to make 10000 and profit, or make 2500, or 5000, then you just scratch a few more to break even.  if you buy for 600, scratch race to riches, and sell everything else, you are almost garunteed to make a profit.

I think the scratchcard that gives the most value for np is still the terror trove one; levelups and np awarded can total up to be more than the cost of the cards if you scratch many of them. 

As for blanks, I've gotten like 6 blanks twice before o.O

I personally dont really care about level ups, I dont really battle with my pet so it doesnt affect me, I normally sell or deposit my terror troves.

lol, I know, thats leads back to my first post, of that the prized are unbalanced: 10,000 np vs. a snowball.  both are winners and are equally hard to get.

3900? out of that many scratchcard, you are bound to get at least 5000 in prize money, and by the way you forgot about peak 'o plenty which sells for like 16,000 (I think)


EDIT: just won 5,000 np on race to riches that I bought for 600 np. for those of you who cant do basic math, thats a 4400 np profit.  YAY!!!!

Scratchcards arent really profitable. I just buy/resell them. Someti'mes when I'm feeling lucky I go for them. TT is the best SC tio go though.

you dont have to wait two days to buy a new one, you can get one every 6 hours per account, plus, if youve scratched 30 and you havnt won anything, you must just be really unlucky.

And I personally think the Terror Trove one is the WORST, as I have practically NEVER won anything from it.
I got  the jackpot one before... I scratched it and lost .
I scratch all cards just because I'm too lazy to sell them for a profit I could get in 1 game of Meerca Chase.
