Adult language in there...extreme adult language.

Theres more pictures of personal photos that people have submited.

Shitty Photoshop job.

Spirits and ghosts exist. Humans have souls, and yes, some legends are very much real.

Infact, I was staying at an old victorian house near a graveyard in Tasmania, and at night, there was all these loud banging noises and the doors would never shut. You'd lock the doors, then hear them open again in 5 minutes time. It was creepy as hell, and then my sister and I saw a odd light coming from a fog over the graveyard in the early morning, and we knew there was nobody else there (this is out in the middle of nowhere)

Creepy, huh?

Creepy? I dont believe one bit. case its true it's probably someone trying to scare you.

The whole point of my post was that there is no where in the Bible where it talks about there being ghosts. It doesn't need to say there isn't, if you think that then you one bad believer...

<laughing> I think that's the point of being atheist, eh? ;)

Bible doesn't say anything about Pluto, but that doesn't mean Pluto isn't there.

Wow, that just made fall from my chair . God knows every galaxy and every single name of it. He evens knows how many hairs you have which you dont know. If it was not for God you wouldn't have a computer, home, food, and other stuff that you need.

Didn't have a clue...

That is just a smartass remark, and if you want to be like that, God created everything, therefor yes if pluto exists the Bible mentioned it. ggnore

Sorry, didn't mean across as a smartass, was just making a joke. And sarcasm. But I never, ever, make smartass remarks intentionally. And it was to slightly further my point by making an analogy about ghosts and the Bible - just because the Bible doesn't mention it, doesn't mean it's not there.

And I've been in topics with you before where I've said that I am an atheist - and it says that on my profile. *laughs*

Of course God knows about every galaxy, if you think that God created the Universe. Or even, aside from Creation, if you think God just runs the Universe. Then yes, yes, I imagine that God would know a thing or two. =P

I was not talking about God, I was talking about the Bible and ghosts, and making a crude analogy in relation to Pluto not being in the Bible. Heck, lots of things aren't mentioned in the Bible, but even if you take the Bible to be God's Law that doesn't mean they aren't there.

Ghosts could be a matter of science. They could be a matter of spirituality. The point is, they are an unknown. It takes a leap of faith to believe in them. Just like God.

Of course, in reply to you, God didn't share the names of every galaxy with us. It is about high time He did, though, since that guy in Canada seems to think we're going to piss off His other creations. Least we could do is get their names right. =P

EDIT:
Actually, now that I have thought about it, the Gospel of Mary Magdalene...and the 300 years of gnostic Christians to follow her...did state something about spirituality after death. It doesn't mention ghosts...but it was some pretty trippy stuff, nonetheless. Most of it is missing. Hopefully, they will find other copies of it in better condition, such that we may know what she said Christ told her after his resurrection. It was all about death and how the soul ascends to Heaven, but a lot of it is missing.

Still trippy!

Jealous St. Peter, condemning the Word of Mary Magdalene to obscurity like that!

God created literacy. Learn how to use it.

Simply put, ghosts exist. Stop denying it, and accept the fact we arent the only things that occupy this realm.

It's funny how easy it is to believe in ghosts, yet so hard to beilieve in something simple as God.

Excuse me? Are you suggesting she's unintellegent simply because she's Athiest?

If you havent noticed, its a matter of faith. I dont know what they teach you at those 'ghetto' schools of yours, but if you'd said that in our school, you'd of gotten an asswhooping.

Like I told in my recent post. There were 2 angels that were serving God and they were watching these two women from earth. So they made human suits and got married with the two women they watched from earth. God was very mad of what they had done and were thrown away. So they eventually had kids. They were very different from other people sense they were tall and really strong. They were called Giants, and they did very bad stuff such as stealing.
So the bibble does explain.

He's talking about the Nephilim, but it was more than two angels. Two hundred Watchers (angels), went down to Earth, taught the humans all matter of science and knowledge, had babies with humans, God got angry, and now the angels are Fallen Angels (although it is not clear as to whether or not they are DEMONS), and the babies were giants called Nephilim.

Genesis 6 mentions the sons of God copulating with the daughters of men, but the Book of Enoch tells the whole story.

It HAS been suggested before, that the lore of Adam & Eve and the Garden of Eden is an analogy for the story of the Watchers. As both the Watchers and the Tree of Knowledge kinda taught man the same thing. It could be that Samyaza/Semjaza/Samlazaz (the leader of the Watchers) is represented by the serpent, while Eve represents the Daughters of Man, falling for the charm of the angelics, and corrupting all of mankind with the knowledge that the Watchers taught. The Nephilim are also represented by Cain, who killed Abel...as represented by the horror stories of the Nephilim killing men off. Technically, the Nephilim and men are brothers (half-brothers). Cain's sin and being marked is represented in that the Nephilim were ugly and disfigured, and spread corruption among mankind whereever they went.

Thus God had to flood the Earth to get rid of the abomination (sin).

Yea, that's the story. ;)

That was uneeded. If you were to have actually read everything, in the post she mentioned believing in gosts, I was simply adding onto it.

No, no. I said I didn't believe in ghosts. =P Look up in the thread!

I cannot say I believe in ghosts. Honestly, I don't.

However, I humour the idea of ghosts, as I humour the idea of God. They are both possiblities that I keep open, even if I do not currently believe in them. ;)

Well of course there going to be demons there not angels anymore from what they have done. So that those explains that demons can sexually abuse you. It seems to happen more on women then on men cases reported.

There is NO physical proof of ghosts/spirits etc so technically and scientifically they do not exist.

It depends on if you prefer to believe strong scientific theories by people who study science day in, day out or prefer to believe in theories of people who have no idea what they're talking about.

But in the end, you're still just taking their word for it.
Besides, it could be argued that the evidence for ghosts is stronger. After all, people have seen them. Noones ever seen an electron.

There is no proof of electrons....
Electric current, electron beam welding... there's lot of proof.
Electron cloud mapping? Oil drop experiment by Milikan?

Our whole modern world is practically build around the fact that small subatomic particles exist.

And by the way you contradict yourself because you say
"you're still just taking their word for it". Are you not taking their word for it when you hear witness stories of ghosts?
