I think it's not a bad idea nessecarily, but some people have incorporated things such as anarchism and vegetarianism. Im strongly against vegans for not even eating animals on wheat harvest, and anarchists as everyone who wants anarchy usually wants to become the political leader of anarchy after maybe a few days?

Everything in moderation. This can be applied to virtually anything. A few things are uncontrolably addicting (think heroin) and cannot be moderated in this way, but almost anything else can. Sex is... sex. We're sexual creatures, so its natural to want and seek sex, but its not required for life. It might have effects on your mental health if you turn into the 40-year old virgin, but strait edge for a year is not going to turn you into a manic-depressant psycho-killer.What is your opinion on 'Straight Edge'. For those not in the know, it's a life without casual sex and drugs basically.

There's nothing wrong with being straight edge. Admittedly, I'm straight edge myself. I never drank, Smoke, Did any kind of drugs, and I haven't had sex yet.
There's really nothing wrong about it, I think it's all a matter of self control.

Straight-Edge is SxC
Anyways, if you want to be a straight edge, do it...no harm done.
Now, I know how to have fun without alchohol..but man you should see me intoxicated...I think that a little bit of casual drinking can do good for some people, maybe lighten up the night a bit
As for 'casual sex', never have never will. I believe that sex isn't something to be taken lightly...

That's what I was thinking too. Hmm.
As far as casual sex goes, you just live your life. You want to be a whore? You go ahead and do that. That applies to both men and women. You just think about the potential consequences. STDs is the first thing you should think about. Pregnancy will change someone's lifestyle. Even if an abortion happens, you won't be the same if you have half a brain and heart. Don't let something bad happen to you in order for you to change your lifestyle. Just think.

Well I do take Aderol (Non perscription) and smoke weed but its no biggie I could quit anytime.
Most girls at my school just want sex plain foward. and luckily, with a pretty even girl/ boy population its off to gettin laid for everyone at my school. though my school listens to shit like fall out boy, hawthrone heights, and hell, even underoath/rise against.

I thought strait edge was just 'no drinking, no drugs, no sex. I'm cool.' But that site is some sort of spiritual connection through hardcore music.

I checked out that link you gave, and it is a totally different definition of Strait edge than what I thought.

I haven't actually "gone all the way," though I will admit that I have gotten quite close, But it's only with one girl, and I plan on keeping it that way until we are either married or have gone our separate ways.
Otherwise, I'm a rather straight and narrow person... I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, etc. etc. I guess I just don't see a need to.

We're sexual creatures, so its natural to want and seek sex, but its not required for life.
Wait I think I misses something. Since when is sex not a requirement for life? I thought it was one of the major requirements?
Lets see do I follow SxE? To a point I do. I do not do drink or do drugs. One of the things that I pride myself on is that I hang out with ummmm a lot of people and well I am almost always partying around people drinking or smoking, but I am strong enough to not want it. As for sex goes. I am a 18 year old male who is absolutely in love with his girl friend and if it was two years in the future I would ask her to marry me. I am always safe since I know I couldn't handle another person and I wouldn't want to put a drain on society because I do something stupid.

I'm wondering... what do they define as casual sex? Do they define it as having sex with someone you're not married to? Or is it just with someone you meet randomly with a one night stand? Because really... if you have sex with your boyfriend or girlfriend that you love and pretty much know you're going to marry it isn't really casual, is it?
I believe casual sex is defined as just randomly meeting some one, and having sex with them (one night stands, as you said). It's definitely not casual if it's with someone you know and love on a very close and personal level (Like a girlfriend or boyfriend of at least a year)
