The thing is... even if there WERE contradictions in the bible (of which there are very few true ones) the bible is not about that, but it is about the message. The message of how to live our lives and it's rather silly to be so obessive over little details such as that. Honestly I don't see why people are so against Christianity and trying so hard to prove it false. Really... even if they don't believe in it... why can't they see it as a good thing? It gives people morals and order. Granted, yes it can be abused (IE: Salem Witch Trials) however overall it has good influence. It teaches us to be good people, it gives us reason. Even if it were all not true... does it really matter? It is in my opinion a guidebook and why so many people are trying to rip it to sheds... just confuses me.

I like christianity. It provides good morals, good development of life, and good for many people and feeling better with more answers to the questions of life and death. But what I cannot like of it are some of those people that simply are straight to the point saying "It is right", when it indeed is a faith.

Why of course I could say I'm right and of course you could say that you are. We could disagree all we want and fight over tea and crumpets or over a bloody battlefield but in the end it is all a matter of how we see it and we will all find out once we die. So basically yes, I could say "ZOMG UR RONG" however that would be a matter of opinion as I do not know that as a fact. Alas, so many people do say that as a definate and I think that's what scares people about the Christian faith. I think people should more... just gently push people along and just share their ideals. I completely understand where you're coming from and agree with you. It is a faith, not a definate. We BELIEVE it is true, but do we know for a fact? Not really. But ah, isn't that what faith is? Not knowing but believing? Having faith that it is true? That is what I think this religion is built on, not having to have fact in order to believe. But that is also exactly why we cannot force the religion upon others that do not feel the same way, but what we can do is give them the opporitunity. So yes, you are exactly right.

Good point, but if Christianity is not a fact, then it's a fairytale. I believe it is right, in my mind I know it's right. If I just "think it's right" and don't take it as the full truth, then im not being faithful. We are supposed to be strong in our faith, because it is a fact. Not a worldy fact, but a truthful fact. The only reasons it scares people is because it makes them think and feel unsecure, and they don't like it, and personally I could care less. I'm not going to ease down my faith because another person feels unsecure. God's the one that creates that feeling. That feeling like "What if I am wrong", I have seen it numerous times.

A couple flaws there.

It is either a fact or it isnt. You may believe it is a fact, but since it hasnt been proven yet, it's just a theory. It's not a fairytale, its a theory, just like atheism.

Jesus is not God's son! He is a prophet, Gods are to be immortal. If Jesus is God's son, what is Mohamed and the Jew prophet supposed to be? God's son aswell? No, They were all sent down to tell everyone about God and to beleive in him.
