Hi all, I just joined this board, and rejoined neopets for that matter. I have a little bit of programming knowledge in C++ I know very little, such as variables if statements, and while loops. I was just wondering, how long did it take you guys to learn to program all those cool things like auto buyers, where can I download VB and where can I get some tutorials for it?
Recomended reads would be great.

Hello and welcome dullfc, you don't really have to worry about programming here, just be an active member that's all. :lol:

But if you really want to know about VB and stuff, asking the programmers here would be a good way to start. Have fun and enjoy your stay!

. by the way...thats awesome mate that you know c++...even a little...as for where we learned, there are tutorials on the net. I just learned how to program in vb about a month ago (it doesnt take very long...took me 2 hours)

http://www.vbtutor.net is a great site. and to learn about winsock you should go to http://www.winsockvb.com

posting a link to where you can download vb is bad as it means talking about warez :lol:
