It depends on the situation.
If you pour a half glass of water, then its half full.
But if you pour a full glass and drink half of it, its half empty.

to me half full is neutral since technically theres only half there but its full halfway so its nulled.I've always said that, depends on what is being done.
And it makes us realists.
