Its half a glass of [insert name of liquid here]

:p

EDIT: It posted twice.

EDIT (again): Also, it could depend on what mood you're in wether you perceive it as being either half empty, or half full.
i.e if you're in a good/optimistic mood you would say that it is half full etc.

Drinking glasses are not made already filled with water. Therefor, if you fill the glass halfway, it's halfway full. If you take the glass fill it up and drink until there is half of the water left, then it is half empty.

half full, because when im really thirsty id rather have half a glass than none. unless its filled with like...poison...which would suck.

The glass is always half full technically speaking.

You either have it half full of water.

Or half full of nothing.

But I tend to think I'm a half-full person!

Half-Empty Or Half Full

Debate.

There's nothing to debate about.
If you say half empty your a pessimistic person
If you say half full your an optimistic person

I gotta agree with that one Travis ^_^ What does that make me?

I was going to say the same thing.

Half empty. But only because half full sounds weird when said out loud. It's probably just me, though.

Half empty. Definitely.

There's too much crap going on in my life for it to be half full. It can't even be that much. It's probably less than half full.

The "Half full=optimistic and half empty=pesimistic" statement is a fallacy.
It's just in the middle of a process, and depending of the process one is the adequate.

And if it's about wich point of view it's better, I think it's better watching how much is missing.
It encourages you to try to fill it.

That's supposed to be the mentality behind it, but really it doesn't work that way at all. Logically you may guess it will never fill up by itself and there is the chance it could evaporate in time so hell... if anything that glass is half EMPTY.

edit: I just replied to a 4 year old post.
