I use photshop 7. When I find a I'mage I want from the net I save it to my computer. I create a sig with a background and when I instert the pic it is a square with white background and the character. Does anybody know how I can get rid of the white background on the pic and just use the character?

Alright, when you find a pic you want to cut to you're picture or whatever, how do you lasso it so perfectly like many of you guys do?

hmm just lasso it neatly, then use background eraser.

OPen the pic

Press Ctrl + T + rezise it using the squares along the border

then move to ur sig

How do you create really 1337 text like a lot of photoshoppers have in their sigs.  The smooth shading inside and all.  I use Paint Shop Pro, but it has most of PS's features so it should be the same.
