The infamously unpleasant 'American Idol' judge entered a deli in Los Angeles to pick up his lunch but was told he had to swap a snarky remark or no sandwich.

"You're that nasty Simon Cowell," said the girl behind the deli counter. "You're not getting your sandwich until you insult me.

Cowell tried to decline saying he preferred not to be rude in real life. Apparently the server wasn't buying the nice guy act, and Cowell was forced to oblige.

"The service is terrible," snarled Cowell. "Your uniforms remind me of those in a 1960s meat packing plant." Then, upon noticing the servers tattoos he added, "If you are going to litter yourself with those, why not tattoo the menu on your forehead. Then I can look at you and order lunch at the same time."

The sufficiently snubbed server gave Cowell his sandwich for free exclaiming, "Thank you. You've made my day!"

Now, that I have to say, is actually an odd thing to do, but I dont think I would appreciate that very much If I was him.

by the way I put this in media, because I wasnt sure exactly where to put it, because American Idol is considered Media.

what's wrong with the server? :(

Anyway yeh Simon Cowell is good at these :D I think he's worse to the American Idol participants than he is to us Brits.

    You guys have it good!
