Some of you people think agree that gays are fine as long as they don't sexually harass you. I think that is THE MOST STUPID FUCKING REASON EVER! To say that you think a sexual preference is okay as long as they don't try to "hit on you" is not only weak and transparent, but makes so fucking sense.

What if you were a guy, and the ugliest possible chick started grabbing your balls (think Alexis Arquette, Michael Jackson =P) would you now deem being straight a bad preference of sexuality?

Anyways, back on topic. Phobia is an intense fear, which I am sure none of us truly have. Usually, they are undeveloped mental disorders. If you have homophobia, seek mental help. If you just don't like gays, that's you're own choice. Just like being gay is that persons own choice.

To the people that say "Oh, this kid has gay parents, he must be gay." Get some fucking research. Only an individual can make decisions. The fact that a kids parents are gay might influence the kid, or might sway them away. Think, if a parent is an alcoholic. That kid could say "My dad/mom drank, I'm going to as well" or "I never want to be like him/her, I am not going to drink." There are at least two sides to every story, and it is up to the individual, not the peers, to decide which side to read.

I thought the "from expirience" was obvious enough that I wouldn't need mention it? Obviously, it doesnt apply to all of Christianity. But it still shows there is a MINORITY of every church that isn't paticularly one to care for.

Personally, I believe homosexuality is wrong from a moral point of view. I do, however, accept that it will exist and I dont judge people based on their sexual preference (As long as they dont make any advances towards me ).

The people who are like, "GOD HATES FAGS", have no clue what they are talking about. Same with the idiots protesting at soldiers funerals that its God's wrath or some bull like that. They have no idea what they are talking about and are protesting in the wrong way and place. If my brother had died in Iraq and any of those fuckers showed up to his funeral they would be joining him, I'd make sure of that.

The Catholic Chuch is corrupt, or it was really corrupt at one point in time. Thats why Im happy Martin Luther (Not the Civil Rights Activist) came along. Just think about it, the Church sold indulgences, like a splinter from the cross (BS) for hundreds of years to unsuspecting people. They also talk about purgatory or whatever, its never talked about in the Bible It seems like its only the Catholic Church that is against the homosexuals. Once again, a corrupt part.

Enough ranting about Christianity and Catholicism and its flaws. Homosexuality, while a sin, does not mean God hates them, does not mean they are condemned to hell, and homosexuals should be tolerated if not accepted. Thats just my thought.

Hell, even some of my friends and I at baseball just pretend to be gay. Its pretty funny actually, the other teams look at us wierd. Like one time a teammate yelled to a teammate at bat that he loved him. It was funny, and the catcher asked if our team was gay. Were all straight though, its just pretty funny.

I honestly don't find either gays or lesbians attractive.. but I know a lot of girls do find gays attractive. Ooooookay... I may sound like a major dork here but there's a type of japanese porn genre called yaoi which means gay porn basically. Well if you look up fanfics on gundam wing that's about half of what they are because of all the horny anime lovers that a girls. Seriously... if you look at the usernames of those that write them I would say the majority of those written from what I have seen are girls so I suppose girls like gay couples but... honestly... I really don't find them attractive at all nor do I find lesbians attractive.

Gay is all right, I guess, but I personally don't support it. I mean first of all, the word "gay" has such an extremely negative connotation. How many times do you hear a little kid say "That's gay" when the word "gay" is not even pertinent? Morally, gay men should be accepted if both of the people are happy about it, but I don't think our society is ready for it yet. At least you don't hear little kids say "That's lesbian" but still, in most people's minds, lesbian is at the same level as gay. This is because gay marriage was unheard of in the older days, and now, when it poses and issue, people are "brainwashed" and most of them think of the concept against gay marriages that has been imprinted in their minds for all of their past years.
