Also, saying they took heavy losses is an understatement. They lost over 11 million soliders just in that war, that's about a 6th of the UK.

If Russia was on the Nazi sides (let's say Hitler decided not to invade Russia), then we would of lost the war. You CANNOT invade and take over Russia. Period.

*smirks* Ask Napoleon. But Hawk, you're downplaying the whole of eastern europe as nothing! That's a huge amount of territory and it took years of battling and in the end they probably did just as much as any of the other major european players. They didn't win it, no but you can't just dismiss it as nothing. And it was not JUST Poland

Russia did help with Japan towards the end, but it wasn't much. They're technically still at war, oddly enough, but it's just over an island.

I'm against capital punishment, and I think Saddam's more likely to be considered a martyr for dying for 'his beliefs and his people', so personally I think he should spend the remainder of his life in a small cage.

Why ask a silly question.. YES he should... he killed so many people.......they did not ask to be killed did they? So yeah, slow painful death for him. let him suffer

I think he should, infact im so for the death penalty its scary I think they should bring it back for certain peoples!!!!
