Just wondering what everyone is.

I have a theory that America is being more and more democrat (the younger generation).

I'm democrat. :)

I tend to have authoritarian views but I lean towards democrat, when presented with those two choices.

    Neither.

Originally, I was a staunch Democrat on most subjects, but now I can side with either side due to flaws in our political system that just ruin both sides. I agree with most democratic ideals, but the system is too warped to put appreciation into either for me.

Think about it. In 1988 Saddam killed 7000 kurds with chemical mustard gas. His own people he killed. If he EVER got ahold on WMDs should we wait for proof by him using them? Would you feel safe knowing he could kill thousands?

    No. End of story.

If you use that argument, why is it that G-Dub refuses to fight North Korea when we have PROOF that they have WMDs?

We suspected Iraq and we know about NK...

Did they have weapons that they where not supposed to have? Yes. Saddam had SCUD missiles that he was not supposed to have. Which is more than enough of a reason to take him out. That is on top of the dozens of other illegal acts that him and his regime has committed.

Because we are unable to get enough support after Iraq. To many people are bitching about one thing or another. Plus we are not sure exactly what North Korea has as far as other weapons and want to make sure we can avoid a nuclear war before we start something. There is also a little country called China that may fight on the side of North Korea if a war does start.

The smartest thing I have heard in awhile.....
Yes, SCUD missles that broke, no shattered the UNs policy on long range weapons.

To tell you the truth, this is better.

    Dear United Nations Commitee,

You cause all of this. You could have prevented it but instead you acted like an idiot waving around a big stick expecting it to scare them.

I do consider the UN the core behind all that sucks with the global policies. They are a bunch of pansies that only use the US to be the power behind there policies. Why do we put up with them any longer I do not know.

But America is all for freedom? We knew about North Korea before Iraq. It was simply because there was more to gain from Iraq and less to lose.

America knows exactly what North Korea has; TIME magazine came out with a full issue describing everything that has been released. 2010; North Korea will have weapons that can reach the U.S. mainland. Weapons have already been developed that can reach Hawaii and Alaska.

I think it's 2010 at least... Give or take a few years.

There wasn't really support for the Iraq war in the first place.

Besides, it's because of the oil that we went into war in the first place. Why else did the U.S. not do anything when it came to Rwanda?

What do you know. What do I know. What does any of us know. There is underlying issues that the public either does not know, or chooses to ignore.

Iraq posed a more imediate threat. NK broke UN polocies. Right. But did we have enough to go to war?

I don't understand how Iraq was more important... There is a serious threat from North Korea that is growing everyday and NOW the U.S. wants to do a diplomatic approach.

Probably b/c North Korea would do alot more than Iraq. =/
