Due to a lot of abuse, arguing and hatred caused, the rep hack has been removed indefinitely with no sign of return in the near future.
When we move to vBulletin in a few weeks we will not be using the reptation system.

Yeah I think it was a change for the better aswell, it started fights when someone lowered rep. It will calm things down a bit aswell!

We are moving to vBulletin? Isn't this forum software good enough? As for the rep stuff, it is good that it have been removed though since there is no guideline on giving/ taking rep, there bound to be abuse.

I think the people who abused it where retarted and n00bs at the highest level.  the rep hack was for good not to make people feel bad.  I wish some people were just alittle bit more mature here.

mannn this is pretty weak...the only ppl that didnt like it were the ppl that got minus rep...you shouldnt worry about what a person that doesnt know you thinks abobut you

its not that...its just the fact that whenever someone got minus rep.... a friend of theirs would replinish it , if someone minus repped...fights would start up...people would organize mobs to attack that minus repper...too many complications for something so trivial.

Yeah, that'd be good. +Rep only. If you got something to -rep for, it's probably a good ti'me for a warning.

yeah just have people get +rep and have no -rep, so ppeople won't complian about losing rep ever and no one would fight about themselves gaing rep

example: "I am so mad" "what happened" "I just gained 40+rep" "o man that is horrible", see nothin is wrong about that, but yeah I still think it was good to take thew whoile system away

the suggestions are really great guys, but I'm sure you could figure out something to fight about , check out the last few weeks ...for now reputation isnt being brought back...maybe we can try it again some other day

and I'm not sure, but vbulletin is the leading forum script...most coders make mods for it

Ahh I just got my frist rep aswell, hehe, ahh well it did start alot of fights between people, and if you still want to give people rep for some reason, just tell them, and there;s nothing wrong with a bit of negative ctisici'm.

couldnt there be a rep system wen u pm an admin or a high rank person then they give the person the rep if its 4 a gd reason?

or would that take 2 long?
