Lately I have been getting BSODs up the ass. I started writing them down, then realized its useless because I think I've gotten everyone possible. But oh no Betty!! This isnt the problem! I've been having some major starting up problems. It takes me about an hour to actually get my computer booted up now days. Usually when I first boot it up, it gets past the window logo, then the screen is black and dosent do anything. Then theres the occasional time where it gives me a BSOD when I boot up.

Also when I boot up my computer and it dosent work, after I turn it off, I have to wait about 30 seconds or so. If I dont when I boot it up, it gets stuck on the Alienware logo and dosent do anything. I've tried booting in "Last known working configuration" a few times. Hell, I even tried safe mode. Safe mode usually gives me a BSOD, or just restarts.

Why dont you reformat?! Because I have to many barking psds on that stupid godamn computer that I need. I swear, I'm about to go rip some throats out.

So who wants to help me, before I go looney? happy.gif

Plug in a working HDD from another computer as your primary and copy the files from your original HDD. Or you can re-install windows in a different directory, hope it boots up properly, burn the files and then format

Multiple BSODs are usually caused by faulty RAM... Test it with Memtest86+

I tested mem86 overnight. Woke up and I guess it was finished... Not sure how I can tell if there was any faults though.

Wow this barking irritating. I finally got on, logged in, BSOD. Logged on again, tried to open Firefox, BSOD. I am so barking tired of this stupid barking bullshit.

*gets on sisters computer*

Great. My computer froze, so I had to manually turn it off. Now it wont boot up. It goes to a screen where I can pick Safe Mode, Last Known Good Configuration, or Start Windows Normally.

Safe Mode, freezes while loading. Last Known Good Configuration, either freezes, or reboots. And Start Windows Normally just freezes.

I am so barking tired of this shit.

This seems more like a hardware problem, than anything to me.

Only problem is, I dont know anything/enough about computers to figure out how to fix this myself.

Go to BestBuy and buy a new computer? You can buy like a decent working P4(without monitor) for like under $400 these days.

Lmfao zulf.

And yeah Pyke, I would. If I could get on my computer..

Lol I also tried reformatting. Shortly after I booted the disc from the boot menu, my computer restarted. I took it as a sign so I decided not to try again.
