Basics-
-the most mines you can have on the screen is 9
-the mines explode when they touch (not a good thing)
-GOAL-800 poins for avi

coins-
-2 points (the basic coin)(common)
-bronze in apearence
-5 points (often)
-a silver coin with a skull in the middle
-10 points (sometimes)
-a silver coin with a cross of bones
-20 points (seldom)
-a silver coin with a cresent
-50 points (rare)
-a silver coin with a skull similar to the 5 coin but has dark lines across the middle horizontally
-100 points (rare but more often than 50)
-a gold coin, hard to miss
-200 points (almost never)
-a silver coin with a gold border

-before you click play go to options and turn everything off, this will help greatly as well as being way less distracting!!!
-when you do enter the game type "scallywags" to get the whirlpool out of the way


-when you start out you want to get all of the mines out on the field and get them close together but keep them atleast a mines width apart.
-you can get them closer together by moving in the middle of them then backing up as they get closer

-once you get them all in a smaller area you can get started

-from here all you need to do is move around them and get the dubloons. if the coins are in the mass of mines go to the opposite side of the screen so that they move off of it.
- beware that you dont have them get stretched out. make sure that they stay in their place in the pack by moving back and forth.

-this is where typing in "scallywags" at the beginning of the game helps. no more whirlpools will show up to ruin it.
-also dont have them get too close to each other or you will have mines popping up randomly and have the possiblity that one might show up in front of you, ending your game.

-if you want to get 2 mines farther away the best option is to move to one side of them and have one of them get farther away from the other. you have to get quite close to the mine to get them to move a considerable distance from each other. get within about a boats distance from them as closest.

nice guide.. i like to herd the mines. it makes moving around much easier

I really don't like the herding technique... and yet it's the one that gets me the most points. I just don't like how long it seems to be taking, even though blowing them up two at a time is also really long.

well the game takes a lot of patience i see why u like the blowing up technique but i am not good at it.

Well i see alot of new members grave digging, but kitsune said theres no rule on gravedigging so yeah. This is almost 1 year old thread.

you know I could of sworn that Rule only applied to the program chat area ( http://www.neocodex....one-t65773.html ) but w.e.. if Ange said that then maybe there should be an announcement made about it? plus even if there is no rule against gravedigging.. why post this when the game is no longer playable?

that's like saying "thanks for something that i can't use anymore"... and not being sarcastic about it
