so on monday, I went to Nagasaki City for this huge festival... it was sooo awesome... ANYWAYS, long story short, I played a game where you get a little cup and a paddle made of rice paper, and you try and scoop up a fish with it. they also have this game for little mini turtles and baby chicks.

I played the turtle one, but lost, but the guy gave me a turtle anyways. it's a girl, she's smaller than the palm of my hand.

I just got her to start eating a little while ago, so I think she'll be just fine.

well sure, it would have been sweet to get a baby chick too..... but I would have nowhere to keep it as I'm living in a little teeny dorm room.

it just wouldn't be fair to keep an animal like that in such conditions. a turtle though, I can handle. XD

Awwww.....she's soooo cute! You should name her Swirly....her shell is so amazing! Squirtle is very cute too. I have too many animals as it is right now.....but your lucky!
