Now I am going to explain the strategy that has helped me complete the rounds. I am going to walk you through an entire game.
In the first screen shot you can see my basic strategy. I first choose all clear balls. There is a green ball, which tells me I have 1 spot correct. So in my next guess, i will move on to 3 grey balls leaving one clear. I got 1 orange spot and 1 green spot. In the next try, I used 1 clear, 1 grey and 2 blue, and got 4 orange spots. Which tells me I have all the right balls, just need to get them in correct order.
Didnt take the SS of it, but the winning combo was grey, clear, blue, blue. Since the top 2 I had the blue balls, and they were wrong I can deduce that they had to go into the last 2 spots.
ok on the next one I do my standard, all clear, with none being in the pattern, moved to grey again none in the pattern, when I got to blue I had 1 green spot.
next I added in the red, and got 2 greens, telling me the bottom was red. When I added the 3 red and 1 blue I got 4 orange and then was jsut a matter of moving the blue around till I got it in the right spot.
In the next screen shot you can see how I use the orange balls to get the correct pattern. I always use the standard, clear, grey, blue, till i get 4 colored spots.
Now in the screen shot you can look at my last guess, red, grey, blue, grey. Got me 4 orange. So I know that i need to move the 2 grey to the other 2 spots, as you can see on the one that is still in play field. And if you look my 3rd guess. I had top 2 blue bottom 2 grey. I know that the first and 3rd are grey, but in my 3rd guess I had 2 correct. Which tells me that the Blue ball was in the correct spot. The picks in the play field was the winning combo.
Now in this round, I got one in my first pick and the 3rd in my second.
on my 2nd try when i added the grey I got 3 correect, which tells me the last 2 are clear. In my 3rd guess I throw in blue. and get 2 correct which are my clear balls, and it tells me that the grey belonged on the top. The pick in the play field was winnign combo
Now on this round, by my second pick i had the position of the 2 clear balls. by 4th position I had the 3rd ball. We also see another colored ball now Orange. pick in play field was winning combo
Now just using the standard picks I am able to get to 4 orange. And once you get to 4 orange it just takes looking back at your prior picks to determine where balls go.
Look at this SS
by the 5th pick i have my 4 orange. And I know that the middle 2 will need to be grey. And if I would have looked back I could see that the RED in the top position is WRONG. Becuase in pick 4, the correct ball was the top grey ball. So the winning combo was Orange, grey, grey, Red
again using standard guess' i get to 3 balls. If you look by second round I know that the clear ball goes in the bottom space. In the 4th pick, I added the 2 red. Well I got 2 corrct and 1 in wrong space. So I know that the blue ball is in the wrong spot. I just got lucky with the guess in the play field. cuase it could have gone the other wasy with blue being in the top spot.
Now in the next screen shot it is just the standard guess and then deductive reasoning.
As you can see once I got to my 4 orange it was just a metter of switching the balls around till I got the right combo. Had I looked back at my 5th guess I could see that the Orange at the bottom was in the correct spot. But hindsight with SS and time is a perfect 20/20.
