There is really no bands I % ." There really is no reason to a band...most people listen to the music instead of the lyrical composition of a song. I mean, I like ALL music...seriously. But there are some bands that I choose not to listen to. Sometime you guys should try listening to the words instead of the instruments.

So, say you like a band.

And it suddenly makes it big (ie: becomes mainstream). Do you suddenly hate them, because you know. They've hit success?

If so, that's stupid, and you're stupid.

I do that if they change the way they play to try to gain more fans. Otherwise, I dont really have a problem with it.

Right, it's the same for me.

But I hate people who think they're so trendy because they listen to a local band.

Hate to tell you this, but playing local gigs doesn't pay the rent. Bands need to make it big, or they usually don't stay around for long.

Punk. Emo. Indie. Screamo. Metal.

Rofl, someone who just names 3 perfectly good bands:

1. Good metal/rock band.
2. Excellent PR relations and superb skill with instruments
3. Godfathers of Rap.

Then names

1. An screamo band from nowhere who think it's cool to kiss boys and have long hair.

Yeah, that's all in your opinion. I have my own and I'm entitled to my own.

Korn and Slipknot blow. And I'm an avid rock and metal fan.
Stone Sour is way better than Slipknot.

The Beastie Boys.. Godfathers of rap? lmfao.

I'll stop. lawl.

Yes, it is, but we are allowed to turn your opinion to shit and completely destroy it with fact. I'm going to add Rihanna to the list, I honestly cannot stand her voice.

I don't know why you're laughing. Licensed to Ill & Paul's Boutique pretty much set the standard for all 90's rap.

I never liked the Beastie Boys from their singles that I remembered when I was young but I listened to my brother's massive collection of their CDs and now they're one of my favorites.

I can stand most shit, but I cringe when I have to listen to gangsta rap. In general it's just far too much.
