Neodymium AuctionSniper by ShadowLink64 - Coming Soon to Member Downloads!
(Yeah, you can't see most of the program... but its in developmental stages. biggrin.gif)

The member version will have some restrictions, such as the amount of accounts you can use (only 2 for Member, 4 for Private, 7 for Retired) and possibly some buying limits... I haven't determined the extent of this yet.

Pretty good design.

I just absolutely hate that color scheme. tongue.gif
Maroon status bar with N logo blues and then red tab text with blue and maroon dotted lines?
Wtf are you trying to pull here?
Jk, it's not that bad. Actually it is, but who's to say?
biggrin.gif

-edit
When are you going to fix the dl's section?

Looks good but do people really use 7 accounts... I use two. I could see how you could make LOADS of money with 7 but just wondering does anyone?

Looks awsome. tongue.gif Maybe you could make it so that if a retired member goes for a specific item private members can't get it? Would easily be a retired worthy feature.

It's not like the appearance of the program affects you...You're going to use the program not stare at it tongue.gif

What exactly is wrong with it? Perhaps you could tell me in a PM so as not to take over SLs thread tongue.gif.

Well... it looks like this just isn't going to be any old Auction Sniper anymore. I've integrated the program with the newly created Neocodex Items Database, so the program will be networked. tongue.gif With the items database, an entire page of items (such as an auction page) can be priced in just a split second, so the shop wizard has just been rendered obsolete in the program itself. tongue.gif

Man, I don't know why they're complaining about the color scheme. The point of the program is to earn money, not to look pretty XD Still, the look is sleek.

Dude, you're so on top of things lately. Hasn't even come out yet, and its already better than most anything we've got laugh.gif

Do we even have a sniper in the downloads section ATM?

Looks amazing SL -- I've never even used an auction sniper before, although I'm sure this'll be revolutionary.

Oh, now that you mention it... I really don't think so. I was going to use the shop wiz to look items up with those accounts, but now I really don't need it. Hmm, ok then. There's no such thing as a auction ban? tongue.gif

Ok, well.. I'm having some problems with the items database. It seems to bog down the server whenever I run it so I'm trying to figure out alternate ways to get an item pricer going.

Here's how I can go about pricing item: I might use the method I use in my usershop autobuyer where you use a custom list that has the item's "price" already in it, and you define the maximum you want to pay for each item. Each of these lists have to be updated regularly as the prices become outdated and an auto-updater will be included in the program.

Another idea is that we use shared networked lists rather than an entire database. Users would upload their list (which would be done automatically) and the server would be programmed to price their lists regularly (at a MUCH slower rate, reducing server load), keeping them up to date without pricing 16,000 items. This would also remove the chance of the program buying garbage that you can never sell, and reduce the margin of error.

I'm going to give this some more thought later when I get around to working more on the program. tongue.gif

---
By the way, the GUI's been altered quite a bit since the creation of this topic so just ignore that screenshot for now. tongue.gif

Looks/sounds nice happy.gif. Haven't heard of this until now. It should work very nicely if thought out correctly. I remember sockopen's old auction sniper and that worked beautifully and made me loads of NPs. tongue.gif

so my program has finally been produced on here tongue.gif well i better hurry and start sniping away before you release this sad.gif but the whole auto pricing thing is a good idea. i like the whole uploading a list and having the database update the list, it would be more effecient. good program by the way smile.gif
