Personally ever since I decided to switch to Windows Vista Business for school I've stuck with Internet Explorer. There is a special version of IE for vista, and it works faster and more intune with vista. Firefox is very slow and laggy in vista, which I think is on purpose.

Please defend your browser!

i used mozilla forever, but then, whenever i tried to go to somwhere that required the slightest flash related thing, mozilla would shut down. Now i use IE. It works pretty well.

I'd wait until firefox gurus come out with Vista tuneups before saying that its complete shit for Vista. Personally, I am, and always have been, an open source kinda guy wink.gif Mozilla all the way.

I was actually using SeaMonkey for a while, but its not as pretty as FireFox tongue.gif

I'm just wondering how does firefox benifit people? My friend uses it and says it's great but I don't see how it's THAT greater than internet explorer

In short, it uses more RAM, displays websites improperly, and executes code and loads significantly slower. If Internet Explorer is not fulfilling your web browser needs, check out Opera.

I've been using IE7 for a month now and my brother uses Firefox. I just use IE because I'm use to it and IE itself loads faster, not webpages but the application itself, than firefox.

I guess Firefox has been my favourite up until now, but these days I'm getting these Script Errors like mad, which are so frustrating. Always from sites laden with advertisements, which are what's causing them.

I think if the issue isn't sorted out very soon, I'll be trying my hand with Opera. I just realized I don't heavily rely on any plugin with FF, so there's no problem, eh.
