Whack-A-Kass is similar to the old arcade game where you throw the penguin. Since neopets are copy-cats
Of course they have their own version. Now I'll set out the basic outline -* To get the avatar you must have a score of 850+
* I always set the screen size on the biggest you can get it.
* If you don't get a high number right away, don't wait, just press space and space again to restart
* When at the apex of the blumaroo's ear, that is when you want to hit, so he goes up really high
* Hold space until as soon as you see his body begin to fall, then let go
* Spacebar is highly recommended for better accuracy, but your choice.
* When he is about to land, press space when he is in air about to bounce, let go when going down to bounce (Going up hold, going down let go).
* Have fun!
Game Secrets
* The little green spots on the ground hold information such as your distance and such
* When you hit around 815-875, there are rocks on the ground, click one, and the next time you play, a different petpet will tell you your distance, not the Turtum
.* Oh, it's because every once in a while (VERY RARE) you can use the tree as a bat. This is how people get scores of 2000.

Wind Speed
The wind speed is a huge aspect of the game, and for best results, I highly recommend you hit ONLY when the wind speed is at nine (9). Also, I hate waiting, so when you start a game and the wind speed isn't around 7, or is even (because it goes up and down by 2's) then I restart. To restart without going back to main screen, press space, miss, press space so you don't have to wait for turtum, then press space again, it'll just restart on the same level. Always wait for 9 for best results.
Hitting the Kass
Many people think you hit low, so it goes further on first whack. But the real secret is to hit at the tip of the ear on him, this make hims go souring into the air, preparing him for the next step. Here is a screenshot of where you should hit him -
There she blows!
Hold down on the space bar when you hit, DON'T let go. That holds his wings in stopping the wind from holding it back from going far up. When it looks like it is about to fall down (the tip of it going up... where it starts to fall), let go of the space bar. That will make his wings let go, and glide through the air done. I have attached a screenshot of where you should let go of spacebar -
Up, and Down!
Now it is gliding down to as far as it gets. Nope, not exactly, at the end, the more bounces the further it goes. Whenever the Kass is in the air on its bounce, hold down the spacebar to close wings, and when down on ground, open them, gives it more of a bounce, and if you're lucky, it'll bounce about 4-5 times, giving about 50 extra yards. I have attached a picture of when your wings should be closed -
UPDATE
I added a video of me playing. Do note, I did not wait for wind, this is just an example of when to let go of spacebar and when to hit it, and at the end, it didnt go far, because of wind speed, it decreased the bounces. Here is where the video can be viewed -
