Dude, on, this is like proving god is real.

God is real to Islamic people and to Christian.....so if they both believe in God, then surely they have the same religion...

Plants live on a biological clock. ( Things naturally happening )

That's ignorant.
Comparing the concept of God, to the concept of time is willful ignorance.

Time is a measurable, quantitative construct. The fact that other organisms also experience and use it is evidence for it being more than a psychological convenience.
God is a human, hypothetical construct. Prove to me that a bamboo plant experiences God, and we'll talk.

Why else would the bamboo plant grow towards Heaven?

It doesn't. It grows towards the sun.

Sunscorch, you don't know the answer, I dont know, or anyone else. This is all speculation.

But, hey, I guess all science can from speculation, huh.

As long as you know my name, i dont wanna be a "wanna-be cata", lol.

As far as my views, on this subject, you cant say someone is wrong. No one knows the truth, so arguing over it only causes more fuss. ( General statement, not directed at anyone. )

More ignorance.
The whole concept of science is based on the fact that you can be wrong.
Yes, the opposing argument can equally never be definitely right, but theories can be wrong.

To stop arguing is to stop seeking greater truth. To stop seeking greater truth is, in my opinion, to stop being alive.
A point I belive I made earlier, possibly in another thread. I don't believe you understood it then, either.

Im talking about fuss on Neocodex.

I want scientists to figure this out and other mysteries of our universe. We on codex do not have the "experience" to say something is wrong over something else, yet...

Your problem is you do not understand how far we actually are at understanding the universe.
Yes there is a probability that Relativity theory, or thermodynamics, or QED fundamentals is wrong, but the chance is very small. The amount of observations that point to its authenticity are overwhelming.
We are not stating our opinion really, we are stating a interpretation of a theory or law, which I guess is an opinion of sorts....

I'm very well versed in the realms of physics, but I really don't have time to argue moot points back and forth about THEORIES.

Most of you are forgetting that all of this is THEORETICAL.

Don't take life to seriously, and don't be such elitists.... elitism is the biggest problem within the scientific community. wink.gif

People much more "versed" in physics than me or you have given these "THEORIES" merit, so I feel its safe to say that if the majority of the scientific community believes it so, then we are not qualified to totally disagree. Ex: euphoria

Glad to see you are so smart with your reply. Lengthy and educated, and you even based your opinion on 10 posts. Oh, and it was very nice and un-asshole like. Hypocrite

I didn't say I disagreed with you.

And before you assault my vernacular, you should lose the didactic tone, and learn some grammar yourself. ("much more").

What is the point of this topic...? I mean.. obviously you know more about physics than anyone here... and the scientists who did research and agree with your points (or your professors) are obviously more accredited than any other theories around.

You know... perhaps time isn't real... perhaps everything happened in the exact same instant, and we are now zooming by at a very 'fast' rate watching it happen... and living it. Everything is relative, you know. wink.gif (I mean that time is relative... and fast is relative... )

So much time has gone by since I last looked in this topic, but my fault if I was insulting you. I'm pretty sure that was not my intention lol. And god knows my grammar is horrible. It really is.
