Don't think I'm trying to be all creepy and morbid or depressed or something tongue.gif I was just randomly watching "World's Most Shocking Moments" and one of the things on it made me recall my absolute all-time most feared way of dying: drowning. I really can't picture anything more terrifying to myself than something like being trapped in a strong current, unable to get out and just waiting until I can't hold my breath anymore.

It's strange because other things, like getting shot or getting in a car accident or a multitude of other things I can shrug off pretty easily. I think about it and it's like "meh, whatever." But when it comes to drowning, nu uh.

So, what method of dying just "gets to you" in a way that it really uh... disturbs you I guess would be a word for it. Discuss!

A long, painful death. Something like having cancer would just be horrible. You pretty much are in a lot of pain, and KNOW you are going to die. :[

Being locked or stuck in a place and starving to death would be pretty bad.

Being tortured to death would be pretty hard, as seen in those movies... where that guy traps people and makes them do crazy shit (ie. rip open ribs to get rid of bomb or something). Forget the movie.

I can handle drowning. I constantly have these dreams, where, i put my head in the pillow or something so I can't breath. My mind wakes up and I consciously try and make my body wake up, as like I said I can't breathe and I think I'm going to do tongue.gif I get to the point where your body physically forces you to take a breath, and if it can't do so you either fall unconcious or die tongue.gif

I can handle diseases. I think it would be a rather peaceful way to do. You know a timeframe, you can do the things you want to do and pay your respects before going. Shot, stabbed whatever I could do. The pain is only temporary, all pain passes.

Getting squashed, but not killed, by a fat person, who then proceeds to fart and poop on me, whilst eating food in my field of vision, while I starve to death.

I've heard that when you're drowning, you get some kind of euphoric feeling before you die, so it's not too bad. The most scary ways to die are when you know whats happening to you. My, what a cheery topic this is.

Apparently, you feel calm, as your body welcomes death or something.

I get really paranoid at night about people mugging you and such...that would be the worst way to die to me. I just hate walking by myself at night, even way out in the country where I live.

Drowning would be my top choice on a way to die if you had to do it someother way than old age. I don't know exactly why though...to me it seems the most peaceful and least painful.

suffocation, or any other type of prolonged form of discomfort. lol

I hate the thought of needing something desperately, and it's right in front of you, but somehow you can't get access to it.

If I had to pick one it would probably be something that would torcher me. Like stick nails through my feet, saw off my tongue, hit my skull with a sledgehammer and saw off both my arms till I bleed to death. blink.gif... yeahhhh so to summarise all that I guess worst way would be torcher.

falling out of a building ... I mean ... you know you're going to die and you have to wait for yourself to hit the ground.

Drowning definately, also the whole idea of being gased, basically just where you die because you can't breathe. That and dying of starvation.

I have this irrational fear of being eaten alive by rodents or insects. As a close second burned to death.

Gotta love them cozy topics.

So how do people know about the euphoric feeling if the only witnesses to feel it and tell about it are dead? tongue.gif

I would think that's the most peaceful way to die to be honest.

As others have said something slow...
Maybe having giant hooks shoved beneath my achilles tendon then hung from the ceiling 30ft underground in a locked/metal room. It gives me chills to think about the hooks digging into my foot...bones.
Or paper cut and then lemon juiced to death (lose of blood).
