What really happened the last few days:
- RareDareDevil discontinued hosting and started his own NeoCodex. His reasons:

forum li'mits removed that were not needed to be
reversals of my actions on many occasions
me recieving gay porn through my door from an old member then admins unbenned hi'm when I asked the admins if this =had happen to hydro would he be unbanned they said no
I had to ask a private member of codex why the forums were down during upgrades because I was not informed
I went for weeks without acess to cpannel (where everythin on host is controled) because the admins changed pass without telling me and when I asked everyone said they didnt know it cpannel was used for my other sites aswell as codex but it rendered my projects and my 100$ host useless to me.
- A new forum was made, called "Pant Devil" (kind of a NeoCodex refugee area)
- Hydrogen decides to pay for hosting at www.neocodex.us
- Pant Devil closes down

We updated the nameservers on www.ncodex.com, so that means in a few hours, you can also use www.ncodex.com to point here.Due to recent events and lack of ti'me I wish to apologise I acted in anger wich is something I dont like doing but I did... Anyway I did wrong so did many other people but I was still stupid ive recently setup my own codex however I realise I do not have the ti'me nore effort to manage a forum so has a gesture of good will I'm handing www.ncodex.com domain name over tothe www.neocodex.us team.
- Staff changes – Due to inactive members in the staff and some problematic members in the staff, we have reworked our staff in order to better serve the Neocodex public. These are the changes that we have made:
- Administrators: Rdd demoted (see below for further details)
- SuperModerators: No changes made in this group
- Moderators:
- Hohoman90 promoted to Moderator[Neocodex Lounge]
- Supatyson promoted to Moderator[Members Area]
- Dark gunblade demoted from Moderator to Private Member
- Kai demoted from Moderator to Private Member
- Programmers: frosty_195 demoted from Jr. Programmer to Private Member
- Ban Filters removed for all users (which basically means all banned members (except the spammers and virus ppl) get a second chance at life on NeoCodex. And once again, "Once Banned, Always Banned" is again chucked out... this restore will symbolize a new revolution for NeoCodex, so we feel that everyone should get a second chance (or third, or fourth in some cases
). Current banned members will be unbanned (except for the spammers and the maliculous code posters again...). - Everyti'me a member is banned, they get an email notifying them that they were banned instead of them being left in the dark
. - Senior programmer position added. With this new position, the older programmer positions were also affected, here is what has changed:
- Junior programmer can only see private disbecausesion and trading post now, private programs and tutorials access has been removed from jr programmer.
- full programmer no longer has staff access
- sr. programmer has staff access (retired access pending)
- The previous smilies posted on previous posts are screwed. If you find a post like this, please let a mod know. All that they have to do to get it fixed is just edit the post and submit it. Sort of like a rehash
. - The links that post to the Program Disbecausesions / Programs (as they point to www.ncodex.com stuff instead of www.neocodex.us stuff) The moderators have been instructed to fix this .
- RDD has stated that it is ok to keep his programming work on NeoCodex.us
- Polls/Questions forum removed - This forum served no real purpose as we can do this in the General chat area anyway. It just made the General area look bigger than it needed to be.
- Ez board removed - I dont even know why this board was first created. The atmosphere of the ez board is what the atmosphere of the entire codex ought to be. We are going to try to make that so now instead of what it was before.
- Programming forum removed - I know that seems scary but its not what you think. This forum was the one that had the official neocodex projects and stuff and wasnt really being used anyway and therefore we dont need it right now. If neocodex does infact start group programming projects once again, we will bring this forum back...all topics within it have also been backed up .
- Private Member applications:
Due to that little incident with RDD and with the boards shutting down, we are not counting this month's applications. Sorry for the inconvenience.
- Member map – Allows you to put a pin on a map at the point where you live. To access the map, click the Member map link at the top of the map and add your own pin if you want!
- Birthday Greet – You now get an email and PM on your birthday wishing you on your special day.
- PHP BBcode – you can write your own php scripts and post them on codex if you need to by using the tags ]php[]/php[. This includes syntax highlighting as well! Make sure to turn those brackets around so that it actually works. :)
- You can see the members that were online today at the bottom of the board. This is not only cool but also helps the staff know who is an active member and who is just here for the programs.
- Country and gender appears on the left side of each persons post. To change this, go to my controls and click edit profile info or you can click http://www.neocodex....=UserCP&CODE=01 and it will take you there directly.
- Some stuff in the Admin CP - Super 1337 stuff
Neocodex and all its administrators and staff still believe that raredaredevil is a good person, we dont believe that any person is bad...RDD did act out of anger and though his reasons, stated above, were valid...our take on it is that he was rarely on someti'mes so we could not tell hi'm of the new things that were going on...we tried to post things that were going on in the administrator general chat, but we couldnt put a stop on the whole board in order to get his opinion on things and then act. Some things needed to be acted upon very quickly. Most of the things that we changed, rdd ended up agreeing with. But someti'mes, he acted and acted against our policy so his actions had to be overturned...I know there is some cases where this is not the case.
We are not trying to put blame on one person, because the fault resides in both parties, but at this ti'me we do not wish for raredaredevil to return as an administrator. This is a very difficult decision for us. This does not mean that he is not welcome on these forums since he is still all our friend. RareDareDevil is a good person, its just that things didnt work out like we would have wished
.All of the administrators would love to see the old gang back and all admining side by side once again. RareDareDevil may be let back on as admin later on in the life of Neocodex but for now, we will keep it like this.
