1: What is Stockmarket?
A: Place where you can invest your neopoints to make more neopoints

2: Do you make a lot of money from here?
A: For me yes and its really simple. I turned 300k into 2m

2a: How do you start investing?
A: Go to games->Stockmarket->find stocks->full list of stocks-> then click on the one you want and how much shares you wanan buy

3:What is the secret to SM?
A: I made this up, theres really no secret. The only tip i will give you is that buy stocks that are 15NP and each day you should use up all of your possible shares(1000)

4:How often does stock go up or down?
A:Stock chanegs very often. You can buy 15K total of stock and in the next hour it can go up to 16k, but theres no point in selling it for 1k.

5:What are the risks in losing neopoints?
A: YOU WON'T LOSE NEOPOINTS UNLESS YOU SELL IT UNDER THE PRICE THAT YOU BOUGHT IT. JUST WAIT AND THE PRICE WILL GO UP

6:Does it take alot of neopoints to play?
A: No even if you buy 1000 Shares a day it should only cost 15k-17k. Only buy stocks that 15-17NP as it will cost less. I highly recommend purchasing 15NP Stock only.

7:Why is low price stock better?
A:High priced stock means already jumped up, and the percent of getting neopoints isnt much. If you buy high priced stocks it will cost Alot of neopoints just for 1000 Share. Even if high priced stock go up you will get the same amount of neopoint as if you had invested in low priced stocks. You can also buy more quality of shares if it is cheaper.

8:When is a good time to sell your stocks?
A: This is all up to you, but i recommend if you buy stocks around 15-17NP sell them when they are above 35NP. Sometimes it will go up really quick, but keep in mind the more faith you put in the more you will regret when it goes down(Just a warning this always happen to me)

9:How do i know im making a profit:
A: Lets say you buy 15k woth of stock, when you look in my portfolio it will tell you all the info you will ever need. Like how much you spend on that kind of stock and how much the current price of the total shares are, and the current price like 15NP.

10:What if I lose neopoints when I sell due to commision?
A: Don't Worry just sell it when you make a profit, each time you sell your stock it will only cost 20NP no matter how many shares you sell.

This whole FAQ Page came directly from my head, so if i repeated stuff sorry too bad.

I bought some really really low stocks once and then I forgot about my account for 2 years... when I looked at the stocks after they had inflated soo much, but I didn't buy enough of them so it wasn't anything overly significant. sad.gif

Stocks rarely if ever go bankrupt so never sell for a loss.

Yea, I was not goin to sell it, I rather take a total loss then sell at 8. Besides its been a stock since 04 so I figured it will rebound eventually.

i am new to stock markets, can anyone explain what i should buy first? i mean, i have no idea what 'volume' is and not sure how it determines which shares i should buy. (like, should i buy something with 0 volume?) same with the meaning of open/curr. the rest is self explanitory. thanks for any help

Just follow the guide at the top of this topic ^^^

Buy anything you want that is around 15 it does not matter other then that really. Just buy it for 1000 shares and keep buying while it is low. Then sell it once it gets to where you want. Just follow the well written guide on this topic.

Stocks kick ass. On my old account I had a good 3-4 mill in the stockmarket and it turned a consistent profit. I just made a new account a few days ago and I'm pouring all my money into SKEI. Stocks are nice because, like someone already said, they rarely go bankrupt and the profits outweigh bank interest. Nice guide!

I just wanted to see what this had in it. No, I didn't invest in SHRX, but here is my overall port:

Totals: 172,000 2,580,000 3,469,000 +34.46%

This is a pretty good guide for people wanting to start investing in the SM. thumbsup.gif
