I wonder if i am still aloud to add, but what does l337 stand for... I've seen it on pages and I've been too embarrassed to ask...

1337 = leet = elite

1337 speak is using numbers/symbols to replace letters to make a message look cool, to stop some people from understanding what you're typing, to be an annoyance, avoid filters (lets say long is censored, if you use 1ong or l0ng most people will understand what you're saying but the filter won't filter that word) and other things
