1. The Ani'mals - House of the Rising Sun
A newer one I've downloaded. It's so groovy and I happen to think it's pretty sexy. I've heard of it before I got around to downloading it but I realize now that it's really cool.
"It's been the ruin of many young men, and God knows I am one..."

2. Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm
Wai. This song's so depressing, as Pumpkins tend to be. My friend's obsesed with them and she turns it into a trite sorta thing... but... One way you can tell a band is actually good is when you think it's totally trite and stupid to like them but you listen to the lyrics and you just go "yum." This song's lovely, if not overdone as a teenage angst... thing, and revelling in its own overblown gothiness.. And I adored it when I was younger.
"The killer in me is the killer in you, I send this smile over to you."

3. Oasis - Cigarettes in Hell
Hehe, now this isn't my favorite Oasis by far but it's so darling. It's nice to know such an egotistical band can play around with itself every now and then.
"I don't mind not feeling I'mmortal, cause it ain't all that as far as I can tell.
I don't mind not going to heaven, as long as they've got cigarettes in hell."

4. Rush - Tom Sawyer
Rush is one of my favorite bands, but one of their most popular songs really isn't my favorites. It makes less sense than usual and it's hard to make less sense than a usual Rush song.
"And what you say about his company is what you say about society."

5. The Who - The Kids are Alright
Aw, The Who. Who doesn't love them, seriously? It's one of their lighter, more carefree songs. It's damn cool.
"I know if I go things'll be a lot better for her... I had things planned but her folks wouldn't let her."

I'll update this every few days or so. I like sharing my songs. ;p
