How did you even find this thread?! O_o
    It's almost eight years old.

That said, trust jillian to have a grammatically flawless thread title.

This has nothing to do with the topic but what's wrong with ending a sentence with a preposition? "You've listened to" sounds much more natural :/

There's nothing wrong with it, as long as the preposition is a necessary part of the sentence.
It's just more fun this way ^^

Alright, since it's been bumped I suppose I'll add to this grotesquely old thread.

War on War - Wilco Great mix of electric and acoustic instruments. Sorta pop-folk. 4/5
Australia - The Shins Upbeat! Very accessible Shins. Sometimes their lyrics get cryptic, but not here. 5/5
Phantom Limb - The Shins Somewhat sad song. "To keep some hope alive" etc. Classic Shins vocals though. 4/5
Calliope - The Veils Boy's got some pipes! My neighbor sophomore year of college had a license plate with Calliope on, but I don't think she'd heard this song. 40+ with cats :p 5/5
Hip Hop Saved My Life - Lupe Fiasco Inspirational, really inspirational. "He said, I write what I see. Write to make it right don't like where I be" hiphop doesn't get better than this, really. No mention of busting a gatt or getting bitches or poppin bottles. 10/5

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know - 5/5 I just can't get this song out of my head, I'm bound to wear it out with how much I've been playing it
Cloud Control - There's Nothing in the Water We Can't Fight 3/5 Really chill folk/pop song I recently heard on the radio
The Real Tuesday Weld - The Decline & Fall of the Clerkenwell Kid 4/5 Electro jazz soundscape, quite moody
Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks - 3/5 Kind of reminds me of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero's Home. I like the music video more than the song though
Trampled By Turtles - Wait So Long 4/5 Bluegrass track with a quick tempo. Always puts me in a better mood

You Have to Ride the Wave - Heems, 4/5. Pretty good rap song, great beat, great production, just kind of bland.

Not sure what I listened to most recently, so just put my ipod on shuffle and listened to five songs :p

Talking Heads - The Lady Don't Mind
Love Talking Heads, this isn't my favourite of theirs, but David Byrne sounds really sexy when he says 'I kinda like that style'. Which is strange, and definately the wrong reason to listen to a song, but screw it :p
    ******....

    Syd Barrett - Love You
Just so cute and depressing. Ahh Syd. D':
    *******...

The Doors - Been Down So Long
Just so good. Awesome beat. L.A. Woman is a fantastic album, my favourite of the Doors I think. Scratch that, definately in my list of top ten albums ever.
    ********.

    Leonard Cohen - Everybody Knows
    Cheerful eh :p
    *********.

Veronica Falls - Found Love In A Graveyard
The intro to this is really unusual and fascinating, the rest of the song not so much :p Still a good tune though.
    ******....

Ahh, love Animals' House of the Rising Sun :D

In no particular order but the last handful of songs I've listened to were:
1 Wiz Khalifa- Reefer Party/ Cabin Fever/ Errday
2 Kid Cudi- Up up and away/ Cudi Zone/ Pursuit of happiness
3 This song/video (it loops and is too catchy)
4 Tyler the Creator- Tron Cat/ Yonkers
    5 This too I guess

    1. Johnny Cash - San Quentin
Just a classic song, Makes it easier to understand prison life. Makes me wonder why America doesn't end the war on drugs, which puts many non-violent "criminals" into a horrible place (Though I'd hope prisons have improved since this song was written).
    4.5/5

    2. J-Dilla - Last Donut of the Night
Simply amazing instrumental, probably one of the last songs he created before his death.
    5/5

    3. Kanye West - Last Call
Not a huge fan of Kanye's recent stuff, but his entire College Dropout album is already a classic if you're into hip-hop. Probably the best Hip-Hop album of the last 10 years.
    4.6/5

    4. Slum Village - Reunion
J-Dilla's verse is great, the best song on another one of my favorite hip-hop albums of the last 10 years.
    4.7/5

    5. Elton John - Rocket Man
If you haven't heard this song, you are missing out. Amazing, will always be one of my favorites.
    4.8/5

    1. Vast - Touched
5/5 I could listen to this song twice a day every day and never tire of it

    2. Eva Cassidy - Somewhere Over The Rainbow
4/5 Only docked a point because this is not an original, but still is probably one of my absolute favorite covers ever. I hate that I missed being able to see her perform live.

    3. Dave Matthews Band - Gravedigger
4/5 103 is forever when you're just a little kid, so Silas Jones lived forever... I am not super fond of the Ring Around the Roses part hence the 4/5

    4. Blue Man Group feat. Annette Strean - I Feel Love
5/5 Rock concert movement number 63, bringing out Venus Hum
I love Blue Man Group more than I love ice cream

    5. Akon - Chammak Challo
4/5 This is so much fun! I think I enjoyed it more than I thought I would when I accidentally stumbled upon it trying to find a song by a completely different band (Ra). This makes me want to learn Hindi :x3:
