Is it really worth sacrificing extra resources for minimally better aesthetics?

The progam is as bloated as woman during "that time of the month".

You just got gyped out of your money.

No. Which is why i don;t even have themes/etc running. You know, that certain process that manages themes. w/e it's called. I only run processes absolutely NEEDED for me to run Windows smoothly. Windows Classic ftw.

It was only 20$. No sweat off my bank account. I like the look, so yes, to me, it was worth it.

I think Laser is talking about the computer resources tongue.gif. It takes processing power of your computer to render all those effects and stuff in real time tongue.gif.

If you like it, then go for it smile.gif. I haven't used windowblinds in a long time so I can't say how it is now. When I last used it, it was big time bloatware in that it would slow down my computer greatly just to provide a few effects here and there...Maybe its changed now though so if it works for you, then go for it!

i think if you like a pretty desktop go for it (vista will make money on that one thing alone, and apple have already got many supporters just because the UI is smexy)

personally i used to have all rendering switched off - as my comp would slow way down - but now even my laptop has XP silver theme, and my vista box has the pretty stuff switched on, just because i think if you're going to spend your life looking at the screen, you may as well make it look nice

do for it if you like it is what i say.

I've got 3gs of DDR2 so I'm not worried about it. It's using like 0-1% of my resources so its no biggie. I also use another theme called molten, just depends on how I'm feeling.

New theme

I prefer standalone themes. I have a vista inspirat theme which just installs itself right into windows, so it basically acts like part of windows, not a third party addon.
Yours is alright, the coloring seems weird to me though.

Sometimes when you remove windowsblinds it doesn't restore the images for some things. And why would you purchase it when its all over the internet tongue.gif
