Yes, I have an API. tongue.gif I'll just send you the class module.

EDIT: Oh wait, I only have the client API for the update procedure, not the retrieval. tongue.gif You want the retrieval?

Well I just need to know what to send to get stuff out of it and where to send it. tongue.gif Also, what format does the data get returned in? XML would be nice. biggrin.gif

It's in XML (so it has tags like <row><name></name><obj_id></obj_id></row>, kinda thing. tongue.gif).

I can just send over the stuff needed to update the server, and when I get the retrieval proc written I'll send you that. tongue.gif

I'm not actually interested in the updating part, I'm just interested in playing with the data and how it's (queried and) displayed. wink.gif

Btw, what are the plans regarding item images? Are they to be downloading and hosted or just linked to?

I don't really have any plans right now.... we have the links for them, but I'm not sure if we should download or not. 1we8.gif

It could be a bit risky, downloading the images to our servers. Also it would be overkill to have it run whilst the board is up. Erm, I could do it on my server the only thing it gets used for is uploading images anyway. I could probably have the images down in a day.

Sure, and then we can just link to you? We could also just run our requests through a referer scrubber and then just download them right from Neopets. tongue.gif

I don't think they check who's downloading their images anyway to be honest. I've downloaded thousands of them several times now for the mystery pic database without any problems. tongue.gif

Then we can just link them probably and not worry about referer issues. That way we can't be caught with hosting their content off-site.

The button doesn't want to appear for some reason, but if you right click the taskbar item for it, you can select minimize. Yeah, its screwed up. tongue.gif

I'll make a note to add individual item pricing, or items not priced yet, and see wtf the DLL problem is, and save user/pass.

Probably sleep deprivation causing this but does anyone else noticed the conspiracy. Neon autopricer. Hydrogen the admin. A certain other program in Private. I bet Brandon and Noit probably element related references all over the place.

Also this was one of those posts where I'd type up half of it, think it was stupid and close it but I've stopped doing that so blame Hawk tongue.gif

map pieces should not be priced with autopricers unless it has a feature for map pieces.

.... which it does. It checks the object IDs and everything to make sure it has found the right map.

Neopets might have changed something in the code again. dry.gif
