Update!

If anyone is actually going to do this, please post your KEY from your fifth code. Thank you.

Well I've worked this out for the single modifiers so far:

A + A = B
A + B = C
A + C = A
B + A = C
B + B = A
B + C = B
C + A = A
C + B = B
C + C = C

Hopefully they're the same for everyone. Anybody see what the logic is yet?

Well done, LW... let's assign nonsensical letters to symbols that already look like letters tongue.gif

From henceforth, they are to be referred to as X, C, V, 8, P and Z

Oh, and tell me your fifth code's Key please.

Check the single cypher solutions I posted match yours?

Actually, if you packet sniff what the game is using, it's using A,B,C,D etc for the characters. tongue.gif

I've worked out what they're doing for the single ones anyway...

1 + 1 = 2
1 + 2 = 3
1 + 3 = 1

So basically it goes in circles if they add up to a number higher than 3. tongue.gif

Yep. tongue.gif

A + A = B
A + B = C
A + C = A
B + A = C
B + B = A
B + C = B
C + A = A
C + B = B
C + C = C

Now we need to find the link for the double modifier ones.

No, I mean do the actual solutions fit your actual problems. Not the cipher. I know it fits the cipher.

Here's some data on the Double cipher:

The letter headings are the letters in the key and the two letters below are the modifiers.
The order of the modifiers does not matter.

The cipher works for the double codes too. wink.gif

D + D + D = B

4 + 4 + 4 = 12

12 modulus 5 = 2

2 = B

(5 is the amount of characters, A-E in this instance)

Everybody has different ones to solve I think, but the cipher seems to be universal so it's easy to work out. wink.gif

Much xD
Was that so hard?

I'll change the "How to solve" bit then smile.gif

You have to finish all the ones and twos before all the threes are doable.

It would be possible to make a program to solve these you know. tongue.gif

Not without having to enter in all the available modifiers too tongue.gif
Because not all "solutions" will be viable tongue.gif

You can get the modifiers by packet sniffing. tongue.gif They come in a nice list. wink.gif

Even knowing how it works barely saves any time on the three-modifier ones...

Hold on, I think I might be getting somewhere. tongue.gif

I've got a program working which outputs the answer to the double modifiers so far.

Double ones are ok... it's the triple ones that suck, because there's so many ways to get the right number.

I'll try and sort that one out now. Does the cipher work for those too?

Hmm, they have different lengths...

yeah, i got it now... lol, it wouldn't accept the numbers from my keypad, i had to use the ones above the letters tongue.gif
