The purpose of this guide, is for you the player to beat NQII get a sweet throphy, two avatars and a reward.

Trophys:

Items:

Game background:

In NeoQuest II you control a white Blumaroo by the name of Rohane, who has go on journey through, and far beyond the lands of Neopia. You'll meet monsters that would make even the toughest tremble in their boots.
-The point basicly is to save fairyland from some pretty evil people, but to get there you have to go through 4-5 acts of the game.

NQII can be found here.

So we begin..

As you see you start at a place called Trestin Village, where you somehow get a hold of your old mans sword and decide you want to go save the day. (Your mom kicks you out)

Before we really start, lets get to know the game..

How to battle:

Character Skills/Skill Recommendations:

Now your ready..
Leave Trestin Village, set travle mode to hunting and begin training get to level 5 before heading out for the Dark Cave.

I recommend training by the redish area, incase your low on HP you can go back and talk to your mother and she will heal you for free.

TIP: If you die to a a plains lupe you get a avatar.

This most likely will take some time.

Once you reached level 5 you should be ready to fight the first boss.
Though The Miner Foreman is a optional boss (meaning you don't really have to fight him) its good exp if you do choose to go and fight him, this will also give you a little more game experience on bosses and maps.

(use the teleporter)
More to the story..

After you beat the The Miner Foreman start heading out to Northern Marches, stop at White River City and check into the inn incase you die, you don't have to walk from Trestin Village. Also don't forget to buy a new sword (Iron shortsword, Dmg 8, Cost:400 gold) Northern Marches is a good place to train for a bit before heading out to the Undeground Cave, monsters in the next map could get a litte tough so train to around level 8-9.

Anyways as you enter the city you notice that the path to Southern Meridell is flooded (same place you get Mipsy to join party.) This is because a guy named Zombom flooded it, once again you have to go on a long adventure to defeat Zombom to lift the curse.

Go through Mysterious Tower1, Mysterious Tower2, Mysterious Tower3 and finally Mysterious Tower4 were Zombom is located.

TIP: Try to be at level 11 when you encounter Zombom, he is a annoying boss at a low level, you shouldn't really have a problem though besides the weak damge you do, so I suggest you buy some damge potions as well as well HP ones.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Once you have defeated Zombom go back to White River City and start heading out to Southern Meridell, as you noticed the curse is broken and you could walk accross the bridge.

Don't forget to pick up Mipsy!!!

-------
Before you go to Town of Lakeside, don't forget to train at Southern part of Meridell, this place has good monsters and a good place to train and make some money which you'll need because at the next town (Town of Lakeside) they got some good upgrades which might be a little costy.

At the Town of Lakeside check in the inn, buy upgrades and talk to the Hermit for the secert word which will let you in the Lost City of Phorofor, the Hermit in on the far left of the map!

So when you get the secert word, go to Lost City of Phorofor!
These is were your going to have to fight the Sand Grundo.
If you are at level 10-11 you should be fine.

Alright once you beat him you got one more boss to go in this act! biggrin.gif

Well now when you beat him you teleport to Tower on The Hill 2
walk through it and walk through Tower on The Hill 1
after you'v done this you should be at South East Meridell

I suggest training at South East Meridell for a bit, good monsters and good exp!

Go to Village of Seaside talk to Uthyni and buy some upgrades.

Ok now head out to Plains of Retreat + Castle of Meridell and get ready to fight Ramtor.

In Meridell Castle you'll fight Ramtor for the first time, but half away he'll run away and you'll have to go to his tower and fight him there.

You should be level 17-18 and shouldn't have any problem killing ramtor.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Go through Ramtor's Tower: Base Level, Ramtor's Tower: Dungeon 1, Ramtor's Tower: Dungeon 2
Then go to Ramtor's Tower: Tower

and Fight Ramtor for the last time.

-Act 1 done-

Sorry guys, for this long wait, but I'm waiting from digfort, for there ok if I use there maps.

Wow, looking sweet.
One problem you might have is the image limit in each post. If you need more room, just make a second post, and Ange will invisible all the ones inbetween so the guide-filled posts show up right after each other.

yeah.. this will definetly be a huge guide... also maybe hide each chapter's explanation in a spoiler tag that way everytime we go to look at the guide all 5 chapters of images won't pop up and have to load... just an idea..

If you beat NQII and you start a new game/go up a difficulty do you get to keep the stats from the previous game or do you have to start from lvl 1?

I think it's unfair to have to lvl up 60 times all over again. ;_;

Ah, NQII trainer, how I love thee.

Hi guys, I was wondering if the maps will ever be loaded again? This was one of the main reasons for me joining the forum, to get info/help on some of the games I am struggling with, that and meeting others that play in neo. Wish you all well :) Eagle

Scripts really are awesome. I never touched NQII for about a year without passing Act I but getting a script for auto-training got me the last NQII avatars left in a few days but I did slack off after completing the rest of Act I and all of Act II in a single session but I did Act III, Act IV, and Devilpuss in a single session. I'm too lazy now to finish Act V and get the rewards even though I'm about an hour away.

Now if only I can find a simple script for NQ...

I'm pretty sure one's on its way from here... not sure on an ETA... but I'm pretty sure that it's on the to-do list relatively high on the queue
