Here's Kitsune's guide on how to use it since I can't be bothered to write one. biggrin.gif

NOTE: NOW WORKS WITH SINGLES AND TRIPLES!

If your copy does not have an option called "Solve Single", you do NOT have the newest version. Go download it now. tongue.gif

QUOTE (Kitsune @ Feb 6 2008, 08:08 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
First and Foremost:
Check that you have ALL required files downloaded AND installed:

http://www.neocodex....load-10319.html
http://www.ascentive...ibraryfiles.exe
http://msdn.microsof...l/html/cpad.asp

Please remember you have to have done all single mods before doing doubles, and have done all doubles before the 8 symbol triples, and only once you have done those can you do the 10 symbol triples.

Do not do any codes that say Incomplete Data as they are well.. incomplete so cannot be done. Just do the other 4 ones, and do that one last before moving on to the next part.

Go to this link (you will need to copy/paste and replace the part "{{{replace with your message ID}}}" with the Message ID):
http://www.neopets.com/space/ros/puz2_data.phtml?id={{{replace with your message ID}}}
NOTE: Message ID is at the top left of a code once you open it. You cannot copy and paste so you will need to write it out yourself. If nothing shows up, it means you have entered the wrong ID, and you should re-enter it.
NOTE: The flash game gets its data from the above link anyway so you're already visiting it but you don't know about it. TNT cannot track you and freeze you by using that link since you already go to it, you just don't know you were.

Lets say you get this:
g60ee8ac3hhc3f34|0||BEFEFBFCGF|DCAEBBAFBF|3|ABBFFDAEBD,CFEAFGGBGD,GDCHHBEBAF,BBEACFDGED,GCGGCGBBCE,ECDEGFFFBB,
CBGFFCDGBA,CEBAEFGFCC,CFFEGBCAEC,DFDCDGADCB,AEGDFGGGAG,ADBDDDDBGB,FEEFFBBBFC,GEEDGAFFGE,CE
BGBCCGC,DDGBBCCGCD,EGBBDEBDDD,BAEGEDEEGD,FFDFEEAECA,FGBFFDBFAD,CGAFFDBEDC,
CABGAAGECE,DEGBGFGDBC,CFBFGCEECC,DEGBACEEBC,DACACAAFAB,BAECGCADAC,CDCDBAFEEE,CCGABEGBDF,GG
BBGFAGE
|20. Message ID:|Key:|Result:|Target:|Back To Inbox|Modifier 1:|Modifier 2:|Modifier 3:|

Red is the start key
Purple is the Target
Blue is modifier (Make sure to not copy those last couple things at the end of the modifier part.
Chars: Three for singles, Five for doubles, then for triples:Six for the ones where the Key is eight symbols long, Seven for the ones where the Key is ten symbol long
You work it out by how many different letters show up in you modifier list, so if you get A-C then it's 3. A-E then there's 5. If you get A-F there's 6 and if you get A-G then it's 7.

Now click solve. You will get an out-put of 1 number if you are doing singles, 2 numbers if you are doing doubles or 3 numbers if you are doing triples.
These are the codes you should use. If you get an out-put of 3-7 it means you should put code 3 into a modifier box and 7 into the other modifier box. Don't worry if it shows the numbers in different orders, it's just showing the different ways those numbers can be ordered.

Said it hasn't been approved yet when I tried it for Laser.

I'm having trouble with the triple's.....I get 6 answers in the output box...none of which work. I'm doing it right as far as I know. Any ideas? tongue.gif

Yeah Kitsune wasn't quite right about the Chars value.

Basically:

Look at the characters in the modifiers list and work out what the range is. So if all the characters are A-E, your Chars would be 5 (A,B,C,D,E). If the characters ranged from A-G, the Chars would be 7 (A,B,C,D,E,F,G).

Mine is set up right from what I can see.. o.o

Start Key: FEFADFEA
Target: FEEEBAFC
Chars: 6
Modifier List: CAA,FBA,ABAB,DDFB,E,AF,CEA,FBE,FCE,EDFA,ABBD,DD,FECB,CFCF,D,CC,EEE,DF,A,AFAF,FA,FE,CAAA,D,AB,BE,F,FDAC,F,BAEE

There are three modifiers to choose from on my thing, so the Solve Triple dialog box is marked.

I hit the solve button and nothing happens. tongue.gif

You can't solve the ones with Incomplete Data straight away. tongue.gif (it even says Incomplete Data on them wink.gif)

Go and solve the others first.

To be able to do the next part of the plot. tongue.gif There won't be prizes until the very end of the plot, the further you get, the better the prizes. wink.gif

You don't need to solve all of them btw. wink.gif

Yes it does, it's giving you the numbers 6 and 8, but showing you every combination of how they could be ordered.

Now you use the list to translate to the 18 and 19th codes. Put those ones into the modifiers and voila.

You only translate them for the triple ones. The double ones are output as the correct numbers.

It's because the triple ones outputs in 2 columns whereas the double one is just a single column.

After Neopets' problem with the "calculator," what's the freeze rate on this baby, do you think?

Honestly I have no idea. tongue.gif I don't know of anybody who's been warned or iced yet though and plenty of people have used it.

If you want to be completely safe you can always type out all of the modifiers manually into a comma separated list (or just packet sniff when you click to load one of the messages). And take your time when doing the answers so it looks like you had to actually do some working out. tongue.gif Like answer one then go and do something for 20 minutes or whatever.
