ok.. now I've tried another proxy. And I DO get the proxy IP when I check it.
Hmm.. *wonders what went wrong*.

p.s: scv maxonline $58 vs singnet 1500kbps $68 (Promotional  :p )

offtopic - by the way I used to get 0-1kb/s download with bittorrent, until I found out that scv uses a proxy. Grr. *Now happily downloads at 160kb/s with BT*

hey, thanks for trying to help anyway.  <_<

ok, now I cant get the anonymous proxy IP to show up on IP checker sites..(most of the ti'me).. I don't know why. Eg. in opera browser.. I enabled the proxy. When accessing sites, at the progress bar it shows 'connecting to hotmail.com(the proxy IP) but when I go to sites such as ipchicken.com and whatismyip.org, I get the original masked IP of my ISP. I'm not sure how I got the proxy just now to work.. sigh..

ah yeah, forgot to mention that you should try to get a proxy that is close to you in location...or else it will slow your comp down a LOT!!

Not very sure about prepaid internet, but I guess it's still safer to use a proxy when transferring.  O_o

This is what happens everyti'me I search Proxy List on google. I search it then a lot of webs pop up but everyti'me I try clicking on it this is what it says

HTTP Error
Status : 403 Forbidden

Description : Organizational policies prohibit access to this page.

Note : If necessary, please contact your Systems Administrator for resolution.

Can anyone just tell me a good proxy for United States?
