Or he jumps into a thread just to insult Kitsune.
It summarized my post, did it not? That's the point of cliffs.
Nah, just defending someone who has been treated unfairly. Think of Kitsune as the guy in that video...

We all know you hate Kitsune, But please just keep it to PM or msn. You don't have to attack her every chance you get. It makes you look immature

No actually we don't along much. I recall us arguing(and him flaming) in the "guns" thread. I don't apply my feeling towards someone when I want to decide whether they're right or not.

Nah, I don't have to keep it to PM/ MSN if Kitsune doesn't. Its unfair to H2O, he is being attacked here, so I'll defend here.

Kk, Next time you're insulting someone, I'll make sure to come in and defend them by just cussing at you. That'll work

You're totally asking for something to happen by saying stuff like that. If you keep it objective, I don't mind. The minute you start calling people bitches, then there's a problem and you begin to be partly at fault. I ask that you not make things worse in this fashion.
Now, we are off topic in the sense that there is argument happening about Hazard's comments and other things. Keep this topic on track, or the topic is closed. Better yet, I will ban perpetrators from the topic (so we don't all suffer) because I can do that now. I don't mean to be a pompous ass or anything but I can foresee the direction this topic is going and it's not good.

To clarify, I meant the guy beating her up should have called the police.
Your brother absolutely did the right thing, while you watched.

But hitting your partner is just...wierd? The only pounding my women gets is when we're doing the dirty.

Agreed. I would never hit a girl who was obviously bigger than me because she'd probably retaliate and I'm weak as anything. I'd just extend that to guys because in my opinion they'd have every right to lash back at me regardless of the fact that I'm a girl. If you're stupid enough to dish it out, then you're going to have to take the consequences.
Considering we don't know what prompted this I can't judge him either way.

I kind of tend to agree with that although not to the extreme of kicking someone's head in.
If a woman attacks a man then he has the right to defend himself (with reasonable force, not taking a hammer to their face or anything like that).
No need to be hating on anyone over their opinions, or their typing/grammar skills. Jeez, one of the admins doesn't exactly practice grammar on here, but we don't rip on him for it.
Also, I beat up 17 girls on the way to the engineering building on campus. No one jumped in and it was generally agreed that it was awesome.
I caught you noob. And yes you do take the piss out of Noit for it.

I had missed a whole page and pulled a slowpoke xD
I don't see people making fun of noit actually . I mean it's damned funny when there is a line of smilies, but people aren't like "OMG YOU IDIOT!!!"

I don't agree with that at all. If a girl threw a punch at me then the most I would do is restrain her. There is a distinct difference between defending yourself and fighting back. Seriously.....I have never heard of so many guys thinking it was ok to hit women in any shape or form.
My manager at work was out for a few drinks one night a few weeks ago and he got punched by some drunken girl. He didn't turn around and hit her back....and this is a guy who can more than handle himself. He took the punch and walked away.
If any guy feels the need to hit a woman in retaliation to her throwing a punch it is simply because he is afraid his manhood has been compromised. He is afraid of being seen as weak.

The problem is that some people would regard restraint (depending on how much force is required to do it) as 'abuse'. With some people (including women) it could take quite a lot of force just to restrain them especially if they've been drinking...
That's what I meant by a man having the right to defend himself, not resorting to punching them in the face or anything.
(although if there's a completely insane woman coming at you with a knife or something and your life in in danger then I'd say that it's perfectly reasonable to be able to stop her as soon as possible, I doubt that would happen too often though )

Then it is more about survival than defence .

But you said:
Survival is still defence really. In some circumstances it would be necessary (even if not preferable) to hit a woman (or a child for that matter but to a much lesser extent since you could just pick them up and throw them out the window or something).

This is why it is not a double standard for it to be bad to hit a woman. Unless she's a body builder and unnaturally buff (possibly taking steroids which makes her like a man anyways) there is no excuse unless she actually tries to fight a man first. No, a slap does not justify a punch. In disciplining children they teach you to always hit your child with an open palm because a fist does not feel the type of force and does not sting afterwards. This is why spanking your child is okay as they barely feel it because of the fat on their bottoms, but hitting your child with a wooden spoon or your fist is not okay. You do not feel the force nor can you measure it as easily.
Essentially what I'm saying is that hitting a woman for anything unless she is at least close to equal strength to you or has a weapon which disadvantages you is like kicking a dog. Since us westerners typically don't feel for humans as much as an animal picture it like kicking or a dog for pooing on your floor. Let's take another example. Evangeline Lily is possibly the most athletic woman on a popular TV show. She can climb trees easily and run very quickly. She has a good amount of muscle for a woman. Compare her to man. Even with all of her athletic ability she could never ever match up to a man with force. She could with agility but that is not the issue here. Woman =/= man in strength. Woman=man in IQ. That is why we have the same rights intellectually but we do not have the same amount of firefighters. We do not have affirmative action for women firefighters as proposed by extreme feminists.
Have I made it simple enough? If a woman threatens to stab you by all means kick the shit out of her until you can subdue her, but honestly how many times is a woman beaten because she threatens a man vs how many times she is beaten because she says or does something that is wrong? I don't think anyone reasonable will disagree that a violent, threatening woman is okay to hit if she is threating your life. But that is apples and oranges compared to this situation in the video. As far as I could tell the guy was hitting her harder and more fiercely than she ever was which is not equal force.
And as requested by someone reporting the topic I will be moving this to debate

Pop quiz hot shot! You're trapped at the end of an narrow alleyway with no way out other than the way you came in which just happens to be blocked by the (extremely) crazy lady with a machete and a chainsaw (if I were Frizzle I'd explain her craziness as being a result of her being on her period). She runs at you, you have no escape, she leads with her jaw, what do you do? What DO you do?! (said in a Keanu Reeves-esque manner)
Indeed it is irrelevant to the video (that guy was clearly an idiot) but I just think it's stupid to say that there is absolutely no situation in which it would be appropriate to have to hit a woman. Violence in itself is futile and would be better avoided in all situations unless it's absolutely necessary.

Well firstly the chances of her carrying a cainsaw with one hand is pretty slim. Secondly I would never let myself get into a situation like that . So what I would do would be irrelevant Mr Reeves.
