Yeah, I guess. Things work out. Its just people on the internet feel no shame for their actions, you know? They just do things. And if it pisses others off, so what? No one here can be held accountable for their actions, so why voluntarily take that responsibility? Because that'd be too much work. Too oppressive. Too damn much. Ugh. The internet just pisses me off sometimes. I wish my friends were still here. Where is dck or jpt when you need them? Or Steve or Kim or Ali, or Matt or Dan? It just seems like each successive wave of members/staffers/administrators takes things really uptight, then really lax, then when they try to tighten up again, everyone bitches a fit, people get demoted, and the cycle starts over again.
News flash codex: your problems won't solve themselves by demoting people that aren't doing anything. More action, less talking about acting. It just sucks that the only people eager to attack policy and actual problems are the people most likely to fuck things up when they do them. The eager ones die quick in politics, and its the same with people in positions of authority here. We all get eager, then die out. There is no continued fervor from anyone.
Look, I'm not trying to bring the site down. I merely wanted to make the point that instead of concentrating on demoting people (which doesn't help you at all) perhaps you could concentrate on making your own site better, so that the likes of slopdog (which by its very name should be inferior) can't show us up.
tl;dr: stop fucking around.
