BIGGER UPDATE: GREAT SUCCESS

So, that was pretty fucking awesome, no? I have the postcounts done, 17 people hit/surpassed 100 posts!
New topic tomorrow when I'm not dead tired.



UPDATE: 100 Post Day has officially started.




I'm please to announced that we are hosting another 100 Post Day all day Wednesday, June 18th. Rules and prizes will be exactly the same as last time. For those in question please refer to the details below. Good luck to everyone and have a great time!

The details:

Basic goal: To achieve 100 valid posts in a 24 hour limit.
Basic rules: Posts that are considered by staff to be offensive (flaming, etc.) will be revoked (Meaning deducted from your total posts). Remember, this is supposed to be a fun event, don't let flaming ruin it
Prizes: Every poster who achieves the 100 posts will be awarded with an award.

In addition, there is a prize of 250,000 Neopoints for the person with the most posts.

Tips:

• You can use this to keep track of your posts
• The more topics the more possible posts!
• Keeping a positive attitude makes posting 100% easier
• Talk like you normally talk, don't spam 3 word posts

The 100 post day will officially start at June 18th 12:00 AM CST and end at June 19th 12:00 AM CST . Bad with time zones? Try this place.

I was on this site for almost 12 hours the last 100 post day.

Well...here we go again.

Please take a screenshot once you've done it though. There's an issue where the board midnight will reduce the number of posts you have and mean you get your 100, go to sleep and then by the time the contest is over, you're down to 90 or something ridiculous. To keep it fair, take a screenie for proof.

*gasp* I remember that!!! Everyone was trying to contact you to post one more time. We all thought it was absolutely ridiculous that you left with only one more post to go. We were PMing you, commenting on your profile, etc. to get you to come online to post one more time...*sigh* good times.

Haha yeah! I came online to loads of comments and messages. I think one was from Hawk, it said something along the lines of "Don't worry, I will make sure you get the tag" .

I was more worried that people thought I was stupid enough to go offline with 99 posts without checking my total first. It said 108 or something when I logged out .

Haha yeah that's right! I think after you came back online, someone checked the number of posts you had that day via 'View Member's Posts' or something and we realized you did in fact have 108 posts.

Jeez it's odd remembering back. You were an advanced member and I was a private member with barely over 2000 posts. Things change so much with time. *drowns in nostalgia*

It feels like it was years ago...but in reality it was just a little over a year ago when it happened. Things really have changed a lot since then .

Actually I think it happened at the end of July 07, so it was under a year ago. Very hard to believe nonetheless. It's fun seeing the site and the members grow though.
