We don't get this in the UK until next week. I cannot even begin to describe how badly I want to see this film.

IMDB currently has it as the best film ever made http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/

Watched twice. Awesome by the way. You have to watch it twice to get all the tiny details Christopher Nolan put into the movie.
Plus to get all the tiny details in Heath Ledger put into his act like his eye movements, swinging of arms, licking of lips, everything.
Totally worth your time. biggrin.gif

From everyone that has seen it, everyone has the same results. They say that it was the best Batman movie so far, and that Heath Ledger's Joker was amazing. Plus all the looks at the human nature of batman and everyone else in the movie is supposed to be very interesting.

Going to see it tomorrow night with some buddies actually, should be good.

It is a great movie. All of the actors do good work, but watching Heath is a spectacle.

I saw it last night, I won't spoil anything but the plot was outstanding. Yeah this is my fav movie so far of all these past villian/super hero movies, including Spiderman!

I actually thought Jack Nicholsen or whatever the hell his name is was right when he said Heath was only an amateur and that he would have done a better Joker than him...trust me on this Heath fit this role PERFECTLY.

There was an a special screening of the film at the Vue cinema where I live. It was £10 a ticket and you got a Batman goodie bag. I wanted to go but my fiancee decided I wasn't allowed to go without her sad.gif.

Holy shit. Send her back to the kitchen... lol. You know I'm kiddin biggrin.gif

Anyone else having trouble getting tickets for this even in advance? I can't find a theater within 30 miles of me that has a decent time showing. And I don't want to have to miss work or school for this one.

You hear that sound? Sounded like a whip.

Why didn't you just take her with you...

I was tempted to be really patronizing with my reply but I won't.

She wants to see the film and would therefore like to see it with me.

I could have said that I would go on my own and then we can go together another time. We are saving to get married so paying to go to the cinema again would be a waste of money.

I only get to see her for two days a week and the night of the special screening she was away.

Saw it yesterday. It's absolutely amazing. Heath Ledger's performance is fantastic, dead or not dead. So yeah I recommend definitely seeing it. tongue.gif

No spoilers, just a big thing about Nicks fiancee not letting him go to the movies without her

Amazing, amazing movie. Without a doubt, the Joker is the best character I have ever seen. The acting, the storyline, the action, the underlying human morals, absolutely everything in this movie is just perfect. I am going to go see it again sometime soon. 10/10 without a doubt.
