The Bartimaeus Trilogy was an awesome read. tongue.gif

I hated how we never got to find out what happened to Kitty. Does she ever recover? How about reforming the Parliament?

And Cyo, I CANNOT believe you are actually 16 as you claimed.

I don't think it matters if the literature is "serious" or not, any 16 year old should READ, at the very least. It's no wonder you suck at spelling and grammar; someone who doesn't read shouldn't expect to be able to do something so complex as writing either. I bet your school grades are deplorable as well.

Anyone ever read The Westing Game? Pretty awesome book there!

I'm rereading the Beligariad and the Mallorean by David Eddings, I have read these 2 series with their branch of books a good 20 times before but they are always the series I read when I cant find another series to get into. Before I started rereading them this time I read the Wheel of time by Robert Jordan which is an ok series but he is kinda long winded about certain things, before that it was Electric Kool-Aid Acid test which was a pretty damn good book, and I think before that I read zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance.

All really good books But I highly recommend the David Edding series Great author that goes into just enough detail about the characters and ect to make the story good but not to much to bore ya, but what he does do is that if you want to know more about a character he writes a whole separate book about them, which I really liked.

no, actually my grades are quite average. In my school, we have this funny grading system ranging from one to ten. One being the worst and ten being the best.
My grades usually range from seven to ten.

I just don't like to waste my time on some silly books, except something which is "somewhat" scientific like:
"Chemistry - How to make Nitroglycerin"
"How to Make Napalm"

Yes, they're not real books but more like how-to's on explosives, but these several little how-to's add up to a pretty big book.

Nope; they never give us anything to do over the summer school-wise tongue.gif

It's not a bad book, though. And I can't seem to get interested in anything else on my bookshelf xD

An Enquiry concerning Human Understanding by David Hume. He is probably my favorite philosopher, even though he isn't driven by dementia like Nietzsche.

OMG can we be best friends!??!?!

I LOVE THOSE SERIES'!!!!!!! Lovelovelovelovelovelove.

Love.

Anyway I'm currently reading Arthur by Stephen Lawhead which is the third in a series of books that's supposedly a trilogy but there appear to be two books tagged onto the end of it, this is my first time reading it through though so I don't know how closely those two are linked to the trilogy. It's okay, I quite enjoyed the first one Talisien because he (the author) kept hopping between Atlantis and Medieval England (a couple of generations before King Arthur) but the story has moved on a lot now and it's lost some of it's appeal really.

Also, Cyo, your bible comment made me lol tongue.gif.

Just finished reading Double Cross by James Patterson. Anyone who likes a good crime story should check out Patterson's Alex Cross series.
