To be honest I am not quite sure, but she ended up moving to Lincoln, Lincolnshire and that's where my Dad is from, and then I ended up in Toronto.

For the entertainment he gave yes he was worth that and if it wasn't for Souness he would have stayed longer. And it's Laser.

As I've already explained, he only left because of Graeme Souness...that's the only reason he was loaned out to Portsmouth and then sold.

Come off it, he was a good player with a great left foot but for 10m there are better options... Alan Shearer only cost 15m,

Only £15mil? That was a world record at the time...Robert was bought like 5 years later, you can't really compare their prices.

I guess we could have bought Pennant though for almost the same price.

Liverpool paid 26m for Fernando Torres a year ago..... chelsea bid 80m for him last month ( it got rejected)
Liverpool paid 750k for ENGLAND goalkeeper Scot Carson...... sold this season for 3.5m even thor he was worth more

Arsenal paid a pittence for adebyor (shocking spelling) ....they just rejected several bids of 30m for him....

If you look at todays prices, if Shearer had his career in these days his price would be lucrative.

Actually thinking about it pennant only cost 6m and is now worth 10m
