But CodexCheck will only allow it to be used from accounts that have private status, so surely it could have only been used by someone lower if it was in a lower group already?

No, thats right as far as I know. I think the log JAU posted is the CodexChecks attempt log though. Sonic had access to the program and downloaded it, then the permissions were moved to private+, so he got fails on his logins.

Someone more programming wise confirm this please?

Nope. The permissions have always been private+, the program always was in the private section. Somehow Sonic got it whilst it was in private (unless like i said a mod moved it before sonic got it).

Yea that's why he's failing, but he shouldn't have the program in the first place.

Are you sure the program was actually in the private area of the downloads system and not advanced?

I thought you said you could only choose advanced as the highest area to place it into, which is why you needed the topic moving?

When it was first released it was in Private. If it was Advanced it would have a lot more downloads than it currently has and there would probably have been more of a discussion in it's topic .

Not too sure when this happened but at 6am eastern I didn't see it in Advanced members, nor did I any time before that, though I did sleep from 11pm-6am eastern And worked from 6am-4pm, so that could explain why I never saw it.

Ohhh makes sense now. I was misunderstanding before. Well the only other thing I could think of is that he knows the account details of another private member.

Is there a way to find out everyone that's logged into the program? If there are two downloads of the program, Oaken is one of them, whoever else is logging in obviously downloaded it and we have our suspect .

It's like the mole, check the first letter of every post for everyone on codex, the first one that spells out a meaningful message is the mole!

that was 5 days ago, and it was moved into private after that, i already said in this topic i've not edited it since or at least not recently (i haven't edited it since it got moved for me) and oaken already said it was in private yesterday. I was asleep when Sonic tried to use it so unless i sleep walked and set it to advanced it wasn't that.

It only went into advanced today. It has never before been in advanced and approved at the same time.

You see i specifically spent freakin ages contacting admins and such to move the thread and program before it got approved so there was no way below private would see it and now look what happens... total joke -_-

i did send the program to shabba as well via msn... but i wouldn't of thought Josh would give it out either.

I would have no reason to give it to Sonic. I don't know the guy and I don't speak to him (even though he seems like a cool guy). We have exchanged a few PM's in the past but that's it.
