There was a topic recently that mentioned how to do this by sending the files over a wireless network from your PC to your PS3. Should have bookmarked but didn't so could someone link me to a guide that will help please? Or even explain it if they can tongue.gif.

i use TVersity on the PC and the PS3 just picks that up, the reason i like that is that it will encode things in real time, so you can play a lot of formats that the PS3 doesn't support

I use TVersity to stream things like live football but I wouldn't really want to use it for HD films, I'd rather just spend 5 minutes or so transferring it to the hard drive personally.

Got it working and it's fucking awesome. For ages I have been watching the stuff I downloaded using my desktop monitor when I could have been watching it on my 32" plasma through my PS3 rolleyes.gif. I would have thought the quality would suffer but it's damn good.

That's because the PS3 has intelligent upscaling settings, whereas video programs on the PC will just stretch the pixels tongue.gif

Re-Encoding is no good.

Mkv2Vob is great for Mastroka files to make them playable on ps3 without encoding (transcoding instead). It will also patch files with DTS audio to make DTS playable in other formats than Blu-Ray/DVD movies.
