Hi everyone,

As you can probably guess from the dramatic new look of the website, we have completed upgrading (for the most part). The new features may take some getting used to, but over time I think we'll get used to it. :p

A nice feature that we have reintroduced to the site is the automatic warn decaying feature, so the moderators no longer need to worry about it and you don't need to remind them. :D Reputation is also back -- you give reputation based on the person's post on the bottom-right corner of the post (the + and - buttons). Reputation is anonymous, though administrators can see who gave rep in the database. So if you are misusing the system, there is the potential to be reprimanded for it by the admins.

I would also like to draw your attention to some other new features on the board: the IP.Downloads system and the IP.Tracker. The Downloads system is what we will be using to distribute our products, and the Tracker is what we will be using to handle all of the bug reports. This will be emphasized in the program thread that all official bug reports should be submitted to this system. Presently we are accepting no contributions to our program archives until we finalize our policy regarding outside submissions.

Programs will begin to reappear in the downloads section as soon as our core development team finalizes the installations for them. These programs will be beta versions, and so we expect you to use the Tracker function if you have any issues (or at least mention it somewhere so we can add it to the Tracker).

Unfortunately, most of Noitidart's custom modifications will be unusable until they are converted into an application and integrated with IPB's new "hook" system, which is planned for the next month or so.

We are also working on bringing the Neocodex Wiki back up and redesigning the front page to better attract new members to our upcoming services. This will be done at a later date though.

Enjoy.

Love the new look! Bulky looking but full of features that run faster!

I'll giving priority to NeoAlerts. Then NeoPost.

Sounds good. We can change bulk with a skin but I don't want to deal with that yet. Not a priority :p.

As for the applications, good work Noit :). I was also looking into Google App Engine. Perhaps we can look into that. I'll get back to you.

I generally don't like IPB, but I'm actually impressed with 3.0. I really dig the design.

Also good to hear the IPB finally implemented a decent (I guess?) hook system.

Nah just kidding, the new look is FAR superior to what we had before. Everything is much better IMO. Good upgrade.

Thank you fine SL64. Saved the day again.

Oh yeah, it's very decent. :p It allows you to overload their functions with your own so you can execute things before or after their function does. There are also skin hooks which allow you to insert things in the middle of skins. Before you had to manually do this in the skin file and recache everything.

Yeah its an awesome system. I'm really enjoying using it. To see how awesome it is you have to use it for yourself :p.

Quotes in old posts aren't working properly. They look stupid.
And I can't find a "View new posts" feature. Found it... though everything shows up three times in the list =/

Other than that, it looks pretty sweet ^_^

The closest thing to "View New Posts" is "View New Content" below the search bar, but that just seems to take each result and copy it two more times. :p

Riiight before your edit. Nevermind. :p

The triple list thing on view new posts is definitely odd, everything else looks quite snazzy though so far.

We need the multiple user group tag thing back too, I look strange with just Programmer. O_o

You guys need to look at the Bug Tracker I added. I addressed two of these things in there, and I expect people to add their own stuff. :p

Yea looks very different, will have to get used to it like all the others, well we have the option of different skins in the not so distant future?

also i think we should have a competition on designing new member tags, as the old one looks somewhat out of place.
