Outside programs: Are we allowed to discuss them?

I'm sure many of you have heard of mOBSCENE's score sender that is unaffiliated with any site. If I wanted to make a post teaching people where to find it (a general hosting site) and instruct on its usage, where should I do this?

In the past we have frowned upon the discussion of outside programs but I think we were wrong in doing this. Our goal should be to be better than anyone else and not stifle discussion of other solutions so as to only appear better. From now on I believe you should be able to discuss outside programs with the understanding that we can not provide support for them here. Since we do not know the ins and outs of the program, you will likely not be able to get much support for making the program work if you did discuss it.

The best place I can think of is to place it would be in the neopets section. As you said earlier, we can just move it if need be. Thanks for asking though .

They've really lightened the grip on a lot of things here,
nothing useful was even public back then, but everyone started
getting older and going to university/college, so rules
changed I suppose.

Once a quality SS'er is developed here, I'll probably make the switch anyway... it's just good for people to know that alternatives exist, and that they don't have to cost hours/days/weeks of your life to obtain.

This is a large Grave Dig. Its not neccissary to do this. Even if you get 500 posts by tommorrow. You must still wait a month. Post steadily over a month, and you will easily get 500 posts.

actually its a true statement, i have used several other forum groups and the guides aint as easy to understand as the one here and this is the first place for neopets advice that made feel as part of a group/community i have friends on here and used to pop on here for advice as a guest so i aint grqave digging im just very honest and there is no way i would try to gain 500 posts in one day lol or evenh a month coz i cant get online trhat much lol 500 posts to me doesnt just mean i can get onto advanced member stage to me it also like a milestone to prove to neocodex that i wanna be here
