The only way i've ever gotten it to work with Vista is to a make a folder on my desktop and place the files in there.
My Documents = Errors
System32 = Errors
Local Disk = Errors
iomega = Errors
Desktop = WIN WIN WIN!!

I tried to send a score today using the figures provided in the DD thread, but the score doesn't seem to have gone through to Neo - the game says I've sent 0/3 scores, etc. I checked the statistics on the SS and it has it listed as a "game w/ errors". Luckily, it doesn't say anything about any scores being under review, but still... Is this something I need to worry about? And does this happen often or has something gone wrong with the program?

And yes, I do have all the required files and it has been working fine on previous occasions.

ahh, that didn't work either, ditto for all the other suggestions.
I think I'm just destined to AoB for all my games =p
I'll just wait until sLAUGHTER finishes the new version and hope it works with my PC =p

if you mean OLD SS i believe it's working well but unable to have NPS AWARDED.

Hey I have a question: I made a list of something as ten different games, checking my scores and setting a similar score for the ScoreSender, but almost half of them doesn't load on the program, do you know why can this happen?

Do you use a proxy? Did you update the encryption? What type of computer are you using? If it's a Vista/7, is it a 32 or 64 bit? Also, what are your settings? Try manually inserting your game scores / account information or putting in a list.
The only thing I can think of right now on the spot is that you should download: Fixes.

Thanks, but I found out it got fixed by changing the settings to have it make sure I'm logged in before sending scores.

So pretty much people that have Windows Vista can't run the SS because the visual basic files needed are only downloadable up to XP..

is the SS working today? it was working fine for me yesterday and now im having issues

for instance, i log in, put all my scores in, update encryption, etc...when i hit start, it goes through the normal process at the bottom, going to game or w/e, and for this particular score (15 mins 32 sec) remaining, and starts counting down

but when i navigate to the status page, it shows current account info like NP on hand, how much earned, how much earned for the account or whatever, my username and NP on hand doesnt appear like normal, thus i know its not going to work...ive let the time expire to send the score, no NP no record of the game being completed

as i said, it was working fine yesterday, so idk what i need to do differently today

score sender just went nuts on me... counted down the seconds as if they were milliseconds... sent in all scores in a total of under a minute... all reviewed--so long account
and so long neopets... i just can't be arsed to rebuild

actually it is true... although its very cold, people should come up with their own lists, instead of providing TNT chances of shutting more of us down..

no, i'm using vista and its fine. somewhere in this forum someone gave the link to dl the necessry installation file/files<br>

For anybody on vista having a hard time running it..go to darkztar and download the needed files to run the programs. I download those and now I can run all the programs including slaughters

Just log off and log back on, keep donig that, it should be fine after a while. some times my SS faces such problems too. no biggie.

It didn't work on my XP due to the vista files used. Works fine on my Win 7 though.
Most of the errors I've encountered using various codex programs have occured on my XP.
Not many problems encountered on my 7, besides the ones that affect everyone.
