A few more sweeps than usual today, but drama ALWAYS abounds out here on the fields, but here goes nothing:

Scoring their expected sweeps against Faerie Land and Altador are Lost Desert and Kreludor respectively. Two top teams taking necessary points today... getting reprieves from teams that want to take down the teams that have been laying down the law all season. Kreludor landed the 1st place position after that easy win.

No. 7 Tyrannia took on No. 12 Kiko Lake today and Kiko Lake failed to carry on their momentum, allowing Tyrannia to grab a sweep and big points today. Tyrannia's big points moved them up to No. 6 and got them one step closer to the finals.

No. 11 Roo Island faced No. 8 Haunted Woods, and Haunted Woods couldn't live up to the reputation their position represented. Roo Island brought home a skin-of-their-teeth victory, drawing in YYB, MSN, and SOSD, but pulling a victory in Slushie Slinger. This made no huge difference in the standings, but it proved who was deserving of their ranking.

A close rivalry arrived in the match between No. 9 Maraqua and No. 10 Meridell. Maraqua proved they have the strength to make their run for the finals, securing a win in YYB, SS and SOSD, but giving up Make Some Noise in their bid for victory. They're going to need more decisive victories if they plan to move up the ranks.

Shenkuu expected an easy win, battling 14th place Terror Mountain, but Terror Mountain proved a tough match in SOSD, making a draw out of what could have been a clean sweep.

Virtupets showed up to win on the side games yet again today, but couldn't handle Krawk Island's Slushie Slinging skills. Krawk Island lost their first place rank even though they took YYB and SS, and Virtupets maintained their perfect SOSD record.

Now for the upset of the day: Darigan finally lost their YYB momentum losing to a team they must have underestimated: Mystery Island. Darigan was fully prepared in every other department, but this loss could cost them big in the long run. Despite the upset, Mystery Island moved down from 6th to 7th place.

Who knows what will happen tomorrow? Certainly not me, so I'll be watching intently tomorrow!

Of course we lost on SOSD... we were up against Virtupets... and their main concern seems to be maintaining their SOSD streak... it was a shame we lost on MSN though...
