If you could have any super power, what would it be? And why? Go into detail, like strength, weaknesses, etc. :]

I'd personally have telekinesis. That's like the multi-tool of all the powers.
-Flying
-Move stuff with the mind
-Read minds
-Hallucinations
-Control over basic elements around you (ex. fire)

You can do a lot of cool stuff with telekinesis. :]

Weakness: Some sort of mind numbing thing? Getting drugged.

I'd want to be able to touch a book and have read it. There was a show I used to watch called The Journey of Allen Strange where Allen Strange could do this. If you think about it, reading is the only way we can input to our brain. Computers are so much faster, what with 40 GB/s connections and whatnot. I read slower than I would like to .

Viewing, smelling, tasting, and touching inputs into our brains too. x]

That'd be an interesting ability. I can see the uses of it for a spy x]

Immortality/invincibility. With the sheer amount of things to experience I doubt I'll get bored of living. Things would be easier if I could go back in time 600 years though. Become a king and forge my own empire. Then start introducing democracy/socialism and see where things end up.

Invisibility for sure + walk through walls + freeze everything around me (I can control the radius).

If I can't have all three. I'll just go with the freeze everything around me (controllable radius).

So in a test I can just freeze everyone and walk over to the smartest kid in class and get their answers! And also time for taking tests wouldn't be an issue!

Manipulation of matter.

Essentially I'm being greedy since it'll give you a whole bunch of powers at once (flying, telekinesis, teleportation, invisibility, strength, control of everything around you, etc).
There's only a few telepathic abilities it probably wouldn't be able to do. All dependant on knowing exactly how the brain actually works...

Combine that with my reading thing and you would be invincible .

Yes, the only problem I foresee with my choice would be that I wouldn't necessarily come with the knowledge I'd need to properly manipulate matter.
Like... You might be able to heal a person, but without knowing human anatomy, I wouldn't know what would need reattaching, and so on. I could potentially fix a broken part on a car that's broken down, but if I don't know how to identify the problem, I can't possibly fix it.

Yes, so you first run through a library touching all the books so you can gain that knowledge. Then you can manipulate matter as much as you want .

Unless I figure out a way to absorb the book into my brain by touching them, I don't think that's really going to help much

You can manipulate matter with your mind, therefore you can become invisible, walk through walls, control elements such as ice and fire etc. Telekinesis is cool :] You would need very extensive knowledge to do all this, so the book absorbing thing could be useful. But I guess you could technically read someone's mind who has knowledge of these things and copy and paste it into your mind. haha.

I don't see how turning off the TV would do anything, as I see it, the show is it's own universe.
