So we have this mIRC channel and it's real fun to chat with everyone there.
However I would prefer you not use the chat unless your register your nickname. This will show your IP as "unaffiliated" when someone does a look up on you. To do so follow this link here:

It is not needed to register your nick using the mIRC channel through Abrosia. It's a password protected room so no one can login via anything except Abrosia(doesn't allow user lookups). So if you feel safer that way go stick to that chat room. Again to get to it open up Abrosia and hit join. I'm always in there to see the Restock alerts you guys send (Awesome feature SL *super high five*)

Nah. Abrosia is just basic. He was focusing more on the program, then on the chat.

But they are the same channels.

It's not just a mirc channel; mirc is a client ; and you definitely don't need mirc for registering our nic

fyi, if you've used a number of irc clients that support "/nickserv" for identifying...

neither the online client at the codex site nor the one in abrosia support the command so remember to pm to user "nickserv" the ident command

i almost gave away my password b/c i did not know this! (could thing i can never remember my own password on the first try, lol)
