8 core means nothing if you have no video card, no overclock, no RAIDed hard drives, but you have most of these things so.

The 8 core's actually beat all other processors without being overclocked, while they are. Its sexy to look at the benchmarks

When using Windows 7, Windows splits the process's among core automatically. This is an epic improvement, because programmers dont have to bother with adding it, and You can use old programs will improved performance.

eh. I still don't trust it to get all my shit on Vista fucked up. I actually like vista unlike most peopleYou'll end up loving the sexy taskbar too . I love it.
Yeah. Windows 7 provides ALOT of performance boost, and has the least amount of compatibility issues of any of their series. Its a very strong candidate for becoming Godlike.
