What is movement for? Do you get to strike first if you have a higher movement?

No it's not completely useless. There's a weapon called Heavy Robe of Thievery, that when you have 201 Movement, you can steal your opponent's item at a 100% sucess rate.

You can check it out here.

But do you really need it if you don't plan on using that weapon?

I plan to start codestone training one of my pets soon... *nodnod*

Both yours and you enemies' attacks' damage are assessed at the same time, so Mov really is a useless stat besides specialized weaponry usage.

Ok so movement is still mildly useful. I guess I should just training up movement in case they make it useful in the future.

I'm neglecting it for now like most people but if they ever do make it useful man that would cost an arm and a leg.

It would take a genius to come up with the use of movement in the BD. Because when it does it would be something like fighting games on consoles where you can block and attack depending on how fast you are. But you never know what they could pull off. It's very confusing making the decision. Myself, I don't train movement.

that is a really good point to add movement into the BD to block and attack.

Like the standard RPG games? Attack = Str + 1/2Movement(Agility)

They need to make more of these types of weapons. Or have weapons that deal more or less depending on movement.

They need to do a total overhaul of the battledome, is what they need to do. Maybe an epic plot where it gets destroyed and then we have to rebuild it.

No, if Movement is hardly needed, it would be a waste of time and cash, and why ask this in THIS THREAD and not the AUTOTRAINERS THREAD?
